Disappointed.

We spent weeks looking for fixtures and ultimately decided on this model primarily because "solid brass" construction was stated in the description. Please be aware that there is no solid brass on this fixture. There are some parts (base finial and arms) that appear to be some sort of solid metal, but it is not brass. In addition, the optic glass shade is debatably glass at all, is full of air bubbles and feel and looks like plastic. The fixture is very light-weight, overpriced, and cheap looking. The saving grace is that it will be installed at an elevation high enough that a casual observer may not notice the quality.

Excellent quality light fixture

Great light for my entryway. Hinkley still makes a quality product - real brass, beautiful glass enclosure. (This is the third Hinkley light fixture I've bought for my home.) It replaces a hanging, open glass fixture that was a dust catcher, and difficult to clean.

This is just gorgeous in our little farmhouse. Totally pleased with it.

Replacement for light that were 30 years old.

Products are what I expected and like my choices. A bit disturbed when we discovered that the one light was not the size that was stated. Catalog was wrong but the product is still nice. I haven't hung it yet but hope to soon and will know if it works size wise. It was a World Imports product. My friend liked my choices as well.

Beautiful in my 100+ yr old house!

I replaced a low hanging pendant with this light and not only does it look cleaner and more historically appropriate in my 100+ yr old house but it sheds way more light than than the previous fixture! It is elegant and beautiful.

Beautiful light.

The light fixture is bigger than I anticipated but once up it looks beautiful in my foyer. Service was quick, package was well packed. Item was received in excellent condition. I plan to purchase a companion light for my hallway soon.

Charming in the Entry Way

I purchased this light in olde bronze for my entry way which leads to a large foyer. The light is beautiful. I love the light it casts because of the ripples in the glass.

Nice Fixture

I really like this fixture and purchased in the pewter finish. The overall quality of the fix is excellent, but the glass glove contained many air bubbles. I had to keep turning the globe around so as to hide most of the bubbles. The shadows from this fixture are great. I placed this one in my entry hall and the pewter looks wonderful with my new glass insert front door.
