Absolutely love buying from lighting of New York. The staff is top notch customer service and friendly. So elegant and beautiful. Such high quality material and design. Once you have this you can’t go to box store quality again.
Glass could be better
Beautiful, and the metal components are heavy and substantial, but the glass dome has 3 small air bubbles in it that are clearly visible when installed (I am 5'4" in height, so not very tall). I had to rotate the dome so that the bubbles are on the side that people are least likely to see. Disappointing for a fixture this expensive, but obviously not a deal killer, as I kept it. If yours arrives with air bubbles, you could always exchange it and hope you receive a pristine one.

You can't go wrong with Visual Comfort. I had a concern as it is fully open on the top that there would be a constant layer of dust inside the glass. The woman with whom I ordered the light said she always uses a Swiffer pad on her glass chandeliers and the dust comes right up. Think I might give that a try. Lovely, well-designed, lantern light. Looks very high quality. It fits too close to the ceiling. I was afraid to order the lower light, but with a 9 foot ceiling it didn't come down enough to see its beauty. May see if I can get and add a couple of links from manufacturer.
