The heater looks good and puts out good heat for a bathroom. Installation is a little more than basic. The materials in this heater are thin and lightweight.
Photo showed cap was included…but it wasn’t.
Came with inxns, easy to follow. Installed quickly
Did not fit I had to take it back
this fits very nicely in the old box with all the screw holes in the right places and is easy to install
Not as warm as the old thermadore.
Measurements were misleading
Does not work as well as the old unit.
This unit is fine but it only puts out half the heat that the 60 year old unit it replaced did. It's a fine unit but it doesn't throwout heat like the old Thermador unit did.
Shipping was too long, Returned item
Bring band aids with you.
Very difficult to install. Design should be so this is an easy install when replacing the Thermador old type. Plus the edges are razor sharp. So be very careful. Ive replaced many of these. But the design is just aweful. But nothing else replaces this.

Nice heater.
I really like this heater. It heats my bathroom fast.
Very disappointed
It does not heat as well as the 50-year-old one I had to replace.
Not worth the money and a terrible installation experience
I'm quite handy around the house and this took me 2 hours to install and fortunately I had plenty of tools. It's flimsy and didn't fit in the old housing. Horrible.

Very disappointed. This heater is completely unusable without the mounting box. Unfortunately this part is sold separately. They should include all the parts to install this heater or let customers know they cannot use it without buying extra housing.

I was disapointed that heater that is rated 1000 watts takes so much longer than portable heater of 750 watts to heat my bathroom that is 7ft X 5ft -6 in
Cadet heater worked with old Thermador grill cover
Pros- install worked with existing wall box and is very simple even for an inexperienced electrician - was able to re-use old Thermador steel grill cover as title states (see photo) - old school style and look Cons - build quality is fairly flimsy and pales in comparison to original unit - heat output is substantially weaker than original unit, luckily my bathroom is small, but would definitely not recommend for a larger bathroom - heater protrudes about an inch out and is not flush with wall. Overall I would give this a 3.5-3.75 total stars. It gets the job done but falls short in a few key areas
great bathroom heater
I replaced an older cadet. Make sure you buy the updated can.
