We replaced are old Cadet heaters with the exact same new Cadet heaters. But for some reason they don't get near as hot as are old ones did.

Replacement for old one that was Installed in 2009. Old one worked for 15 years.New now installed 2024. Works great just like the old one. Hope, I don't have to bother for another 15 or even longer. Thanks much.

Thermistate knob only lasted 3 seasons

We bought this unit for our cabin in 2020. It was installed and used in 2021 - 2023 from April to October. Not every day or anything since most of that time is summer. Then this spring we started to have issues with the thermostate dial. It no longer shuts the unit off even if we turn it all the way down. At this point we can only turn it on or off by flipping the circut breaker.

Right item for the right price.

We replaced an older unit that had been used hard constantly (lasted 6 years), so it literally took 10 minutes to switch otu the old one, keep the old box, reconnect the wires to the new motor and turn it on. For the price, I'm grateful for this choice in heating.

Looks good

Arrived nicely packaged and on time. I have yet to install it, but so far looks to be a good unit. I will update review if something needs to be addressed.

Heater went out. Figures it would be during snowy weather. My lowes was out of any space/wall heaters. Lowes 30 minutes away only had this. Went and got it to only get home and find one of the elements were broke and a coil was flopping around. Returned.

This is the second of these to fail this heating season. One side stopped heating in both of them how do I get warranty replacements

Temp control quit working and stuck on .

Temp control won’t shut off . Just runs . Didn’t make it 2 winters . Came home from work and it was over 100 degrees in the house . Had to go flip the breaker .

Duplex cadet thermostat fails, heat stays on

It’s a good heater as far as it goes, but when the thermostat fails - they use the same thermostat for the duplex as for the single cadet - it stays on no matter what. So if you’re not home, say, on vacation, the result could be dire. It’s a pretty bad safety flaw. This was bought to replace the last one that failed, and the new one failed after 6 years. Cadet was sold to a big outfit in Canada, and they know the thermostat in the duplex fails but sadly it’s not a problem to them.

This heater puts out a lot of heat and is adequate for my 340 sq ft room. I hired an electrician to install it.
