New Calphalon pans for years older Calphalon pans

All calphalon pans and lids looked great except for the 8 quart pan. It looks dirty inside. Once i wash it I hope it will look better or I may try to get it replaced. I got new pans for another set of calaphalon pans I bought many years ago. I also got a new set for my daughter, plus a bigger skillet for each of us as well and a larger pan I wanted for my daughter as she makes dinners for 7 people almost every night!

Loved my set of Pan’s until..

I purchased these late Jan earlier February 2023. They have served me well until recently I started noticing extra moisture dripping into my pans when I put my lids on. Then today,

These pans are......AMAZING!! The variety I got are all pots and pans I use frequently. Love having the glass lids so I can see my food inside without having to take the lid off. They do take a little longer to warm up and for the food to begin cooking, but this is because the material they're made of takes that heat and evenly distributes it throughout the pan and then retain steady temperature cooking your food just right. The non-stick surface is so nice to have and unlike any other "non-stick" coated pan I've ever used. I made homemade chili 2 days a go and then we had it for dinners 2 nights in a row. After dinner the first night I just waited for the chili to cool, put the lid on the pot and just put it on the top rack in the fridge so that it'd be quick to grab and throw right back on the stove to warm for dinner that following night. By the end of night 2, all the chili was gone but there was a pretty thick layer of food goop all along the inside of the pan. Imagine my surprise when all it took was hot water from the hand sprayer from the sink to remove every single little bit of that goop. I didn't even have to use soap! I was so shocked I grabbed the sponge and a squirt of soap and bubbled it all up anyway and gave it a little swish swash anyway. Why did I not buy these sooner?!?!

Replacement Set

My wife and I were given a set of Calphalon nonstick pots and pans for a wedding gift in 2005. Despite the Lifetime Warranty, I was realistically hoping to get 10 years of use. They far exceeded that. The set was used on a nearly daily basis. The construction was top notch and the coatings held up remarkably well. I did not put them in the dishwasher or use metal utensils. After almost 20 years, a couple of them required replacement. My wife contacted Calphalon and I assumed they would not honor their warranty. To my delight and surprise, they stood behind their products.
