Do not buy this!!!

I brought this for my griddle. It definitely does not diffuse grease. There is nothing to catch grease from dropping directly into your burner. The first time that I used it, it caused my automatic igniter to permanently be disabled. The grease does not have a place to go. It is a design flaw.

This is my second one. First one lasted 6 years until rusted out, which is great for the amount of use i got out of it!

16" Grill Box

I use the 3 burner stove for both church and camping for large groups. Why does not Camp Chief have a 16" version Grill Box for 3 burners. My only option is to use the 14" two burner version on my 16" 3 burner unit.

Must have for high temp searing

I have owned the deluxe grill box for 4 years. It is great. It is perfect for searing steaks. Side note if throw some wood pellets under the grates, you can get some great smoke flavor.

Could be built to last longer

Would be worth paying a little more for greater longevity.

Love this grill box on my Big Gas Grill

We have had our Big Gas Grill for 3 years now and bought the BBQ grill box at the same time. We use it almost everyday or at the least 4-5 times a week. Was wondering if there is a replacement diffuser plate that we could order to replace the one in our grill box as it is starting to show its age.

Great build quality, poor design

Seems well built of good materials that gets the 3 stars. On my initial cook I can see the huge flaw built in this grill box, there is nowhere for the grease to go but on your burners and into the bottom liner of the pro 90 which is not only a nightmare for cleaning but a huge safety hazard! I cooked 2 steaks at low heat and halfway through the cook had a grease fire going. Fortunately I am always minding the grill. This design flaw is a huge disappointment for the build quality and the brand.

Works OK

I’ve been using this grill for 3 years now and have had a mostly positive experience. The cast iron grates oven rust over the winter. My main issue is with grease drippings. If grilling something with a lot of fat like burgers made with regular or medium ground beef, the dripping do not vaporize. I have had to deal with quite large flames on many occasions.

Grills food

Heats up well and cooks food. I put wood chunks under grill for a smoke flavor. Only issue is lid doesn't always want to stay up with wind screen on. Takes some getting used to dialing in the heat. Also keep an eye and ear out for the burner even in a light wind. When cooking at low heat burner will be blown out easily.

The metal used on this grill is not a heavy enough grade. The hinges are weak. This is what happened to our last grill. I expect that this will last only 4-5 years of camping.

Double BBQ box and 3 Burner stove

bought 10years ago for the RV, fits well and stores well in the side of the RV. I bought the RV 10foot hose to hook up to RV propane, no extra bottles, hook up on the side of RV. Excellent BTU's , Cooks for one or for a Party, my belief best complete cooking system on the market

Does not have an adjustable vent like the picture shows

I am sure that this will work well, but I specifically wanted this to have the adjustable vent. Still considering whether to return this before I use it, but it is Labor Day Weekend and I ordered this, to replace my 15 year old single burner box. Disappointed in this omission and false representation in the picture.

We love it! Easy to use and easy to clean.

[Rewarded Review] Lid stays open

I had one of these with the black lid which was fine until it got too rusty (my fault). The problem with the old one was the lid never stayed open when you lifted it up. This one seems more stable, maybe heavier, and stays up. Now I'll make sure to keep cleaning underneath the grates and applying oil properly to the grates after each use so I don't have to scrap it again. That's really the key to this grill and it's the reason I only give it 4 stars.

Home Depot Sent Me Used Product!!

Beware ordering online. Best bet would be to shop in store, if stores offer this. Home Depot sent me a frickin USED box! Disgusting! Grease, food, and parts missing. I have lost ALL faith with Home Depot. Will never order online again. 3rd strike YOU'RE OUT! We also got the accesorry utensil kit, and it had MOLD inside the bag. GROSS and just plain awful service all around. Now I get to make the 1 1/2 hr trip to the local Home Depot to return these. Yay me!

Worked great on the 3 burner stove -- with the lid locked it will work to cook cresent rolls

Great product, but will rust out

Great idea/concept and generally good quality but I've found that after a couple of years the bottom panel (which is supposed to vaporize the drippings) rusts out. It would be a much better product if they would make the panel double or triple thicknetss.
