6 kW 1.5 GPM Point of Use Tankless Electric Water Heater, 240V.. We got this unit to take some of the load off our big water heater and perhaps to save some on our electric bill. I have to say it was pretty easy to install, I was quite intimidated by the electronics involved but once it is hooked up the controssl are simple. I will say that coming up with a 35 amp breaker was a challenge. Good luck. I would actually suggest getting a pro to put this in for you. As far as instant goes ,, it is not quite, but it is pretty quick and it is hot!!!.

[Rewarded Review] Great Small Water Heater

The CAMPLUX 6-KW Insta-Hot electric water heater is a great little product where hot water is needed instantly. The 6-KW size is a perfect unit to either use as a small stand-alone unit or as a supplement where hot water takes a long time to travel to the location required. Since this unit is electric, there is no outside ventilation required as there is no exhaust. This unit is 240-volts/3-wire at 6000 watts, so a 30-amp circuit would need to be used. The cord can either be direct wired into a disconnect means, or a 30-amp plug could be put on the cord and used at a 30-amp receptacle. You will be required to install a safety pressure relief valve at the unit per the included installation diagram. All wiring must be copper, and this unit is to be wall mounted. The water piping can be PVC, Copper, or Steel depending on your preference. This unit is lightweight, compact, easy to install, and easy to operate. Make sure to follow all local codes for both the plumbing and electrical connections.

Sleek design compact size allows it to mount most anywhere, it’s light weight as well. Planning to use in an RV to have more hot water than a 6 gallon water heater can supply. It is a power hungry device for its small size it requires 35 amps so it’s about max for my gen system to run. I am planning to use one in an insulated shop for a hand sink. The instructions don’t specify much other than the 35amp rating. So going with a 40amp breaker made sense. The bracket is included to mount to wall. All other supply lines, valves and pressure relief you need to get from local supplier for your install. Setup is straight forward to control water temp. Takes 20 or so seconds to have hot water flowing.

Put in RV. Cuts on and off when taking a shower. Cold then hot. Have not been able to get it resolved.

Cheap made. Removed from box , hand tightened connectors, gave a 1/4 turn and one broke. Talked to customer service and they were going to send a replacement then completely stopped responding

Good replacement - Low cost

The product is functional. When you are prepared with the appropriate tools and parts, including fluid lines and electrical connectivity. Simple enough installation for an experienced installer. Needs a better instructions manual, and a more detailed description of electrical requirements. This unit provides a continuous supply of heated water at a maximum temperature of 131 degrees Fahrenheit (includes setting for Celsius). Uses 240V 3 phase power (red, green and black wire) 30 Amps. I recommend utilizing a 40 Amp over current circuit protector.

Got this for my husband on our anniversary. Works great! Takes the water only seconds to get hot and it can get SUPER hot.

I got this to install in an RV, after all the brand name is Camplux. However, it is not suited for that for a number of reasons. First it requires 240V. Secondly it is bigger and heavier than I expected. So not for my intended use. I will install it in a seasonal home. For now I just put it thru a test regime.

The installation is easy enough and the directions are easy to navigate. The water is instantly hot it does 1.8 gallons per minute. I would recommend this water heater for the quality and cost.

very simple to install. currently installed in a weather proof wash rack in the barn for boarders to use. heats up pretty quick and honestly doesn't draw a lot of electricity. FYI it'll say 35AMP, means 40 for American electrical standards.

I got this to install in my home for my kitchen sink. We have an on demand system in the house but from it to our kitchen sink is actually quite a distance. We got this so we would have hot water immediately. And we do this is a great tankless system.

This is a great electric water heater for the camper for when you can plug in. Its so easy to install and small enough to fit just about anywhere.You could seriously install this just about anywhere where you can access 220V.

This was absolutely perfect for what I needed. As per my wife’s request I installed a bidet in her bathroom. Rather than run hot and cold lines to it and then have it mix are use this off the cold line and set the temperature to what she wanted. as soon as she starts to use it it immediately outputs water at the desired temperature. It’s been a great solution, and works very well.

I got this to use in our outdoor shower at our beach lot. You can set the water heater where you want it to be and you only need one water line for the shower - just get it to a temperature you are happy with. Installation is pretty easy if you know how to install a breaker and some basic plumbing. Good stuff makes for a great shower!

My garage is roughly 50' away from my house so running hot water to it for the utility sink didn't seem practical. I bought this so my husband only had to run one water line and we could still have hot and cold water whenever we need it. I decided to have him put it on its own breaker so we just turn in on when we need to use the water and don't have to use more power than is needed. Installation and plumbing was pretty straight forward. I will say if your not knowledgeable about electric panels or wiring you might want to get a electrician to do the wiring. Probably my favorite part about this is now when we wash our vehicles with hot water it seems to clean it better and dry off with almost no water marks.
