No good
Bought for a kitchen sink far from the hot water tank. Found that it can only heat to 120 if water is less than halfway turned on. If turned up more than that the elements cant keep up and the temp drops dramatically. At full blast was showing 90 (warm but not hot)
the unit I received did not show any response when turned on. Voltage was correct although there was conflicting information printed on the box and the unit nameplate. I returned it and bought a 2.5 G mini tank that works fine and was easier to install.
barely warm water for a few minutes
The heater simply does not heat the quantity of water in your advertisement. You advertise the heater will raise 1.7 gallons of water 40 degrees Fahrenheit; but at most it will raise only .5 gallon (one half gallon) water the advertised 40 degrees.
Easy to install, works as expected so far.
This heater provides warm water, not hot.
The temperature rise of any small electric tankless water heater is only 33-34*F. If the inlet temperature is 68*, the outlet temperature will never exceed 102*F. This is an idiotic design and you can't change anything.
Received product, had installed and it will not heat. Can’t find anyway to troubleshoot it. Have not pursued further into customer service yet. Hopefully they’ll replace or tell me something. Either way a swing and a miss.
Yep
Turns on and off as it should. Turns on with low flow rate whereas my existing other brand intermittently either wouldn't come on and/or wouldn't turn off and then trip out on overload. We'll see how long it last?
No Hot water
Purchased this and converted all faucets to 1.5 GPM and still only warm water
Lowes speciation's on this product are inacurate
I bought this product with the expectations of getting 1.7 gallons of hot water per minute. The water temperature never got above 90 degrees. I called and talked to a manufacture representative and found that the device is rated at 1.7 liters per minute, which converts to .4 gallons per minute. Being that average household flow rates are approximately 9 gallons per minute, it was grossly under rated for my needs.
Seems like a good water heater, but it's apparently not legal in Massachusetts so had to be returned.
[Rewarded Review] Great Product
Easy to install, came with everything that I needed
Not what I hoped for.
Bought all my materials at one time to get my shop built. Finally, got to the point of being able to Install this under my sink. I would only consider this water room temp. You can not shave with cold water and with this product you only get barley warm water. Will be pulling this out and getting a better product. DO NOT WASTE you money or time with this product.
Weak at best
Bought for a project several months ago, just turned water on in building today. 44 degree incoming water temp and this thing will only heat to 82 degrees in a bathroom sink unless I throttle the flow significantly. Very disappointed.
I order envoy ansen 6 kw & I install it & it works great for 1 sink in my shop, turn the faucet down half way and water gets really hot, used it to wash two small dogs and wash hands, heavy duty well made medal stubout. thanks Larry
Easy to hook up
Is a nice unit for a garage or shop
[Rewarded Review] Hot Water At Your Fingertips
What a life changing experience it has been since I installed my ENVO by ANZZI electric tankless water heater. I recently installed an outside pool bar, and although I had a cold water line I needed to run a hot water line. Due to space and not having the need for a large water heater, I looked into a tankless water heater. Also this model is smaller, it has provided enough water for my bar sink and takes up very little space on the wall under the sink. The setup was easy and all you need is electric and a cold water line to tap into. Just ensure that you follow all local plumbing and electrical codes and although this is a DIY project, if you’re not sure reach out to a licensed electrician.
[Rewarded Review] Compact yet powerful
I have high expectations from this very compact yet powerful point of use tankless water heater. Its output of 1.7 GPM should be sufficient for my install in a hobby workshop sink. My only holdup is installing a dedicated 220V 30 Amp circuit which I plan to do once I recover from ankle surgery – about another month or so. The unit seems to be very well made and with quality materials. I opened up the case and found a 5000 Watt heating element in a well-designed and compact enclosure. Overall, I am happy with this product at this point and look forward to using it.
[Rewarded Review] Good product
This review is for the ANZZI ENVO Ansen 1.7 GPM 6 kW Electric Tankless Water Heater. I’ve been very pleased with the ANZZI products I’ve gotten in the past. They are very well made and durable. This is the first appliance that I’ve gotten but my expectation is the same and I think the price is reasonable. I’m in the process of building a potting shed and I’m putting a used dishwasher in there for sterilizing planters, etc. I know the dishwasher will heat its own water, but this will be a great way to have additional hot water available in an outbuilding.
