Unlimited hot water

I have been using my Rheem 27kw now for 11 months and have zero complaints. Before we had it after 3 showers have been taken in the house the person having the 4th would have colder water for theirs and if it's winter time it would just become cold.

Don't waste your money

Had mine for a little over a year. This unit does not produce 6 gallons a minute total lies. It produces just under 3 if Im lucky. you need to live in Vegas or Florida to maybe get more gallons per minute. Live in NY like me not at all close to 6 maybe 2 a minute. The worst! Elements are garbage

My old 80 gallon hot water tank was on it's way out so I did research on a replacement. I could replace the tank with another 80 gallon hot water heater (no thanks), I could go with a hybrid 80 gallon hot water heater (not bad), or I could go with a tankless system (ideal). There are pros and cons to each but I ended up choosing the Rheem 27kw tankless hot water heater. I read good and bad reviews on this system but I have nothing but great things to say. I had to have an electrician come and install an additional (2) 40 amp breakers and 8/2 wire for around $450 so I had a total of 3 lines hooked up to the system (essentially 1 line/breaker for each heating element). At first I was getting only luke warm water so I called Rheem tech support and the advisor was extremely helpful and told me to check a few things. Within 10 minutes it was working perfectly. (The issue had to do with the install, not the product). Be sure you're getting 240V to each element before your electrican leaves. Nevertheless, we initially set the temp to 140 and was way too hot. We dialed it down to 125 and it is perfect. We have 4 full bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, etc. We can easily have 3 showers on simultaneously. Best part is the hot water never runs out and ultimately saves you money. 2 thumbs up!

I would recommend this electric tankless water heater

Works great! No problem with hot water running two showers simultaneously as well as dishwasher or sink! I would recommend this. The wiring was a little more work for me because it requires 3 40 amp breakers and old water heater was just one 30 amp. So I had to make room. I have 200 amp service to my home, I was a little concerned about this unit needing 120amps but it’s working great and haven’t blown any breakers. My lights in bathroom flicker a little when I got water is first turned on for about 20-30’seconds then seems to stop. Only my bathroom though no other lights do it so I’m not sure what that’s about for sure? My wife and I love it and hope that it saves us on our electric bill? Still to early to determine since it’s only been a couple weeks that we have had it.

Great Water Heater!

I bough this 24kw heater and not had a problem yet!, we take long showers at 105 to 110 F and had not had it cold one time, I would recommend this product, it's easy to install and comes with a great warranty!
