This is my new favorite pot. We make rice in this at least 4 times per week. It comes out perfectly every time. We purchased this in yellow and I'm so happy with the color. I leave this sitting on top of my stove, because it's just too cute to store in a cabinet. We are a family of 2 and this is just the perfect size. I love this cast iron rice cooker. I have made white, black, brown, and red rice to perfection in this pan with excellent results. Much quicker than an electric rice cooker, and much better texture and flavor. Cast iron is magical. I also use it to make personal size soups. Highly recommended.

Fantastic size, heats evenly and just the right size for me since I cook mainly for 1-2 people. The glaze is beautiful.

I love Staub. This pan is just a great size for two. I had to exchange it due to a defect. I was accused of putting it in the dishwasher which I would NEVER do. Took HOURS to sort it out. Won’t be going to WS ever again.

More versatile than you think!

I’m not a Staub fangirl but I did like the size and it was on sale. So….I bought it. It did not disappoint. It fits on the small if you have an induction cooktop. It would be fine on top of a burner of course. It conducts heat like it should. It could be used for so many foods-not just one nor one type. When a small saucepan is needed this piece would work splendidly. Glad I bought it.

One of my absolute favorite pots!

Fabulous pot. We don't do much rice but enjoy freekeh and polenta frequently. The first time I made freekeh in this pot I couldn't believe how well it turned out. It had never had such a rich and creamy texture before. Same with the polenta. I was so impressed I ordered one for my sister for next Christmas. I had it sent directly to her so she could enjoy cooking with it now and not have to wait 10 months! When our housekeeper saw it on the stove she picked it up and embraced it. She likes it too! I told her to order one from you all while the sale is still going on. I ordered the larger version of this pot and I'll be curious to see how soups and stews turn out.

Great pan - interior can be hard to clean, gets a cloudy look
