Moen Single handle faucet

Was exactly what I was looking for in a single hole single handle faucet

Thus far after a few weeks of use met expectations. Unlike similar Delta faucet there is a good adjustment differential between hot and cold. Chrome finish is excellent and swivels nicely.

Leaks after 5 years

We installed this 5 years ago and now must replace it because it's leaking a lot. Maybe this is a normal lifespan for a faucet? But it's disappointing especially with the cost of installation.

It does what it's supposed to do and didn't cost a fortune.

Simple and easy to use

My husband said it was easy to install. I like that the faucet doesn’t have a fancy spray nozzle, less chance for problems. Packages nicely and all the parts were there.

Product was as described.

Excellent product. Easy installation. Quality product. Product installed on new Granite countertop. NOTE; The threaded shank should have been a half inch longer. on installation , only had minimum threads for securing nut to thread on to. Granite countertop was standard thickness.

The full swing of the Chateau faucet is most useful. The long reach suits large sinks. I like that it doesn't rise so high above the work area as to cause excessive splashing. I wish Moen still made the Riser style which this model replaces after 30 years because handle parts are no longer made. I've had the chateau a week with good performance and am satisfied. Excellent value, warranty, and customer assistance. Moen is tried and true.

Great buy

This chrome faucet is well made and very attractive in my new kitchen. It has good water flow and was easy to install. It extends directly over the center hole in my sink which is perfect and is low enough it does not splash everywhere. I did not want a pull down or pull out faucet because there are so many complaints about leaking and the sprayer being plastic or hanging down etc. This faucet is made in Taiwan which may explain the quality being better.

The faucet serves the purpose

I have a pull down faucet in my laundry room. I want a second faucet that can connect a 6ft water hose to fill my mop wate bucket. This traditional faucet gives me the option to do so. I bought a snap adaptor to connect this faucet and the water hose.

Just what we wanted

No sprayer to clog; smooth handle operation makes it easy to regulate flow; great appearance. The prior faucet started leaking and constantly needed dismantling to clean filters. It was very difficult to set a low flow rate or make small adjustments. This MOEN cured all the problems (smooth operation and easier to reach filter).

Probably the best thing about it is the mounting hardware underneath. This Moen Chateau 7423 single-hole mount is an excellent faucet, and at a great price. It's described as a low-arc, but it has plenty of arc for our needs.

Not fancy but I don't need fancy. :)

I wanted something that worked smoothly but did not block the view out the window above the sink. And I did not want a sprayer because I have no space for the hose under the sink due to RO system.

We bought it to be able to attach a PUR water filter so are very disappointed that when unscrewing the end of the faucet it is not like a previous faucet. What part can be purchased to adapt this

This is a really nice faucet. I installed this faucet in a motor home I am restoring and it took a little modification to the sink it went in but overall it worked out well.
