Its hard to get the right amount of water into the trays without overfilling (you fill them with the lids on). Often I put too much in and have to break the cubes apart. Still, 4 stars because they work great if you fill them properly and I love having the lids.

These ice trays are amazing. My icemaker is slowly making ice so it’s nice to have some ice trays just in case. They’re easy to fill. They have a flip top It opens to fill the ice trays with the lid on. There’s no spill. There’s no mess in your freezer with frozen ice. They just work perfect for our home.

I ordered on line but needed to return. When I got to your south county store, customer service could not find the order number. I asked for the manager who only talked to the customer service representative over the phone. Did not show up as I requested. I could not return the Oder. I will not be ordering from Home Depot on line because orders cannot be returned. '

Our ice maker went out. Not ready to invest more money in the old refrigerator or buy a new one, these trays fit the bill. Ordered them online and had them shipped to my local HD store. The lids make the difference.

They're not perfect but as a person who has to push a wheelchair from the sink to the freezer without spilling a tray of water, these make life so much easier.

Another “Great Value” from Walmart…

I think these are great. I got them with free shipping for $4.99 plus a little tax, a while back… The lids do fit if you push them forward to the opposite end away from the lift tab, while pushing down, one it covers the end… Once to the end press down from that end until they snap in place back towards the lift end. I bought one set, then ordered another. I have a bin next to the trays I empty out into. I now have 3 sets, as one set for a spare. Walmart was out of stock, at the time, so I picked my last set up at Amazon. I don’t think the overpriced water filters on refrigerators are worth it. So I buy gallons of Spring water at Walmart for my drinking water, tea, coffee, and my ice cubes…. What’s all of the negative reviews about? I haven’t had any problems with these. Check the other prices of items similar to these, with cover lids…Much higher…

Received one set out of the three we ordered. Seems like the trays will do what they are supposed to. But we are waiting for the rest of our order before we use them.

I have filled and emptied the trays twice with no cracking which is the main problem that I have with ice trays. The ice is easy to dislodge and doesn’t stick to the tray.
