A great size for 2-4 portions

This Braiser is the perfect size when cooking for 2-4. It is a very manageable size for cooking and cleanup. Like all Staub, it is great for stovetop-to-over preparation.

Fantastic Braiser

We've been using this braiser for a few months now and absolutely love it. It is very easy to keep clean, retains heat very well, and seems to retain more moisture than our comparable Le Cruset cookware. This is a perfect size for 2-4 people.

Worth every penny!

I immediately used it after it arrived and my chicken dish was melt in your mouth good. I will be using it weekly for a busy family schedule to put in the oven and pull out a complete and delicious meal in one. I love how it keeps the contents moist, tender and delicious.

I loved loved my Staub Braiser with Glass Lid. The color (Grenadine) is beautiful and it cooks amazingly. It arrived very quickly, and the price was cheaper than any other website that was selling the same pan when I bought it. Another pretty Dutch oven pan for my collection. It is nice to have different sizes to cook different meals. I can’t wait to make many more delicious dishes in this pan.

I love everything about this

I love everything about this braiser. I have a couple of other pieces in this line and i"m glad to have a third one. It cooks beautifully and looks great at the table, too, for these fall and winter meals.

So versatile!

The heat is even and lasts. I can make everything from eggs to sauce to stir fry with this baby. I got the tall cocotte to compliment for soups, but I actually could make it in this bad boy as well. Cast iron pans intimidate me, but add ceramic coating and it’s a home run! All the benefits without the stress. It’s the best investment. It is a new way to cook.

Gorgeous AND Functional!

This pan is a stunner! It looks gorgeous on the stove, and is fantastic to cook with - heavy and a good size, you can cook just about anything in this beauty! And the solid glass lid is perfect.

Super Functional Braiser

This braiser is the perfect size and the glass lid is strong and substantial. When I received it, there was a small indent in the base of the pan. While it was still usable, I was concerned that over time the coating would erode in that area. I contacted Food52 and sent them pictures, and it was determined that it should be replaced. I received the new braiser quickly and it is perfect! Love the color too!! Thanks to customer service for their great attention.

Versatile Cooking

This pan is bigger than I expected but ... To check it out I made soup in it. Worked great. I think a small turkey will fit in it perfectly ;). I've only had it a week and I totally enjoy cooking with it. Looking forward to using it for roasting and baking (cinnamon rolls?).

I like the clear lid vs other cast iron ones. I can actually see into this one. And I like the black for this, the combo of the 2 is nice.

not Le Creuset

I bought this to replace my Le Creuset braiser and honestly, I'm disappointed. Le Creuset went 39 years without getting bumps or pocks, and this got them right away. It's as if it already had some damage to the coating. Any advice, Food52?
