I could not even be more happy with this shower head! It’s easy to use, powerful and the rain option is heavenly.

This is perfect. Grohe products are always amazing. Gorgeous to look at and function that never disappoints.

Good retrofit shower option - one minor flaw

Nice Shower System -- Looks very nice. Components seem solid and relatively easy to install. Took off 1 star because the valve control is a little inconsistent... meaning you turn it to change the flow and it doesn't always seat where the symbol is shown. It still works though.

Really good quality. A bit harder to instal but worth it. It’s very luxury I like it a lot. Shower pressure is good and you can easily switch between hand held and rain shower or both.

Best purchase I ever made for my shower. Looks great, fits well and I love the handheld feature with the valve for switching from overhead to hand-held at eye level and not 6 feet up on the overhead unit.

Luv this style. Five years later, no complaints.

Grohe 27 867 1 RetroFit 2.5 GPM Shower System

I love the way the shower system looks but was very disappointed to find the shower head on the hose only has one setting. For as much as this cost it has bare bones options. The rain head occasionally drips cold water. I expected something much better from Grohe.

Very Nice

I was looking to spend a lot less on a shower unit but was glad I upgraded. This unit is very nice and has many different settings for shower head and handbell sprayer. Elegant look really made my new bathroom pop!

Prettty but a pain to install

Beautiful product, but the install is impractical in several ways. The install method requires that the tile and backer board be within 1/2” of the shower head connection, but most showers aren’t built to that precision. Also, the hardware they provide requires trimming bolts that are installed in the shower tile. Finally, the screws they give are soft and strip easily. After a failed attempt, I had to make adjustments and buy better hardware at Home Depot.

Beautiful shower system but it is not a complete set. Know what you need prior to purchasing. Wayfair recommended a rvalve for this which i had installed and it was the wrong one. I suggest researching prior to purchasing so you have the right rough in and trim.ough in

Like the system look

Looks good but rain shower head has many nozzles that don’t spout water. Disappointing

FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT!

I cannot rave enough about how delighted we are with our new shower system. Whoever designed it at Grohe is absolutely brilliant. To take our “builder’s grade” showers to this elevated and fantastic level without having to do ANY major renovations is nothing short of a miracle. Our plumber who did the install was equally impressed and said he was adding it to their place as well. THANK YOU GROHE!!!

Top quality Retrofit System

The system is well built and the option to raise the height of the rain shower head made a big difference for our retrofit (very tall fellow will be using it). The only "but" here is that the finish is distinctly different from other so-called brushed nickel finishes. Has a slightly warm-gold undertone to it that does not match-up/blend with the other BN finishes in the shower. Still, it's a really nice unit.

Great, how can I solve squeaking when shower head is moved?

This is a great set-up. Love it. Only issue and it's small, the overhead shower head squeaks rather loudly when we moved it back and forth. What can I do to fix that?

Not only does this look fantastic and like you did a major renovation but it is also wonderful to use. The rain shower head and the handheld are terrific alone or in combination, Makes for a wonderfully relaxing and spa-like experience.
