Wanted to make me the customer satisfied

Mike at Brickyard, Chicago was great. Issue was with supplier of shower faucet and he talked with them and sorted it all out. Without Mike in bath supplies I would have gone home without the problem solved.,

Bad product

The temperature handle is made out of cheap plastic and almost impossible to install. It's supposed to snap onto another piece that is attached to the main handle. For the price paid, it doesn't even come with the valve. So I had to buy that separately. I ended up returning the shower set. But since the valve was already installed, I bought another Delta set that was compatible with it.

Terrible

Absolute junk. It’s mostly plastic and got bent during install. It’s installed and looks terrible. What do I do know? The tub spout is plastic. I can’t believe they are selling this. I should have sent back as soon as I opened it.

Nice looking but low pressure!

I bought 2 of these shower faucets for a large shower remodel. The water pressure is terrible. If you want good pressure, do not buy this Delta model. I've read other comments about the pressure as well, lesson learned.

Broke After a Week

After having this product installed by a plumber, I came home one day after using it for only a week to find my whole tub halfway filled with water and the water continuing to gush out of the bathtub spout. The water would not shut off from my bathroom, and it had to be shut down for my whole building floor to stop it from overflowing. When the plumber came the repair it, he took out the cartridge that came with this trim kit which had been installed and the cartridge had broken into parts and no longer usable. We had to buy a new matching cartridge to reinstall and fix the shower.

This kit is top! I installed this, plus the rough in valve reccomended below the description. I didnt need a tub spout connector so I just got the HF valve. It was all done from the front of a fiberglass shower with no rear access. Had to use the thin wall plate aswell that was recommended in the kit instructions. The fact that I had pex pipe, no copper, and kept the original pex fittings, made this job cake. But, I can guarantee it is not going to be this easy for everyone. Im no plumber, but I did do a bit of extra prep and research to ensure it would all pan out. Gotta say, Delta just has a premium feel and look; plus the ease of installation and options? Very nice shower hardware overall!

The product looks great and functions well. As I was afraid, pressure is subpar out of the box for this shower head. I removed the o-ring restrictor and that helped greatly with pressure. We really like the dual pressure/temp control so when we remodeled we were certain to get the same type again. We stuck with Delta 17 series, because the 2 showers we replaced were the Delta 1700 monitor fixtures and lasted 20 years without issue!

Goes nicely with the matching faucet set from Wayfair. As with the faucet, nice finish that wipes clean easily. My plumber recommended Delta as a good mid-range brand for which he can find parts when repairs are needed. The mixing valve is tight and adjusts the temperature accurately...very important to consider (if you have ever had a cheap one that just can't get it right). The doors are also from Wayfair, and I ordered everything with confidence that if anything goes wrong they will stand with me. Note: the shower head does not come with but is also a Delta.

Also, I like a lot of water pressure so let me tell you the secret here...take out the water saver (grey thing that screws in) and then also remove the tiny black rubber gasket inside. At first I didn't remove the gasket but it really made a huge difference. You might need to use tweezers to get it out. Then, get ready to enjoy the best shower of your life! On another note, this is a sharp looking shower trim but I wish the screws on the valve were hidden or not so prominent.
