OK but not great

This Delta faucet is OK, but not great. The flaw is lack of sensitivity in temperature control. Just a slight movement of the handle to the left changes the temperature from luke warm to very hot. Otherwise, the design and function are OK for the price. I bought this faucet to replace a previous Delta faucet, which failed prematurely. Next time I will try another brand.

I purchased this faucet in order to attach a counter style water filter. It worked out just fine.

I have looked at quite a few laundry faucets at Home Depot and other big box home improvement stores and most of them do not extend far enough from where the faucet is placed - resulting in backsplashes to the wall behind. This faucet I finally found but it did not have a 2 hole fitting that would fit my laundry tub. Thankfully, Rick from Plumbing at Home Depot Bellingham showed me how to modify the holes on my tub to fit this faucet and was exceptionally helpful in suggesting other products to plug the two holes I have on tub. Would suggest to delta to manufacture laundry faucets that have a neck extending farther away from the faucet and also to include a deck plate on single hole handle faucets.

Quality is important

I had no choice, it was the only faucet that would fit my sink. I wanted a heavy duty metal faucet. This was light weight. Good think it had a life time guarantee - the sprayer was defective and not installed.

This is a nice attractive faucet but be aware that it needs only a light touch. I fear it would break pretty quickly in a family with kids who don't always treat things carefully. Also, like most new faucets it restricts water flow so if you are used to the good old faucets you might want to look at a second hand shop and get an old one. It drives me nuts filling the water jug or coffee pot. If my husband figures a way to bypass this I'll post it here.

Not a good faucet

I purchased this late 2019 but had to wait due to COVID to get plumber to install it. It’s past time to be able to return it, so I need to buy a different faucet. This Delta model is very difficult to turn off, if you don’t find the exact spot that shuts it off, it continues to drip, and no one in this house except me is that patient! Also when turning the faucet on, it “creaks”, and seems too tight. I would definitely not recommend this faucet.

Works great! You have to be a little careful when you turn off the faucet because if you don't get the handle in the right spot it will drip. It only took me a couple of days to get used to where to place the handle though and now I don't have any issues with it.

The faucet was easy to install and hook up. No leaks on the first try! The control lever works very smoothly. The finish is perfect. It's hard to beat a Delta!

Faucet Good, But Watch Out for the Sprayer Connection

It's a decent faucet, but with one problem that you're likely not seeing on here.

After a few months it is difficult to shut off without a trickle. You have to figure out where the "sweet spot" is to shut off entirely. *** UPDATE. Had this less than 10 months and can't get it to shut off without continuing to drip.

Just had this installed today, works really well, (very smooth) looks really nice. Purchased swivel sprayer from hardware for under $10.00, (Bubble Stream - 1.5 GPM Soft Water-Saving Swivel Spray - Internet #203673041) it's all I need. Just wish is had a slightly higher arc.FYI: HOSES THAT COME WITH FAUCET ARE A LITTLE SHORT SO YOU MAY HAVE TO BUY THE SIZE YOU NEED TO INTALL IT, CHECK THIS BEFORE YOU BRING FAUCET HOME.

I wanted a simple faucet that could swivel because I have two side-by-side sinks. This one fit the bill. It only too a few minutes to install and comes with its own hoses. These hoses are a bit on the narrow side so, as some reviewers have commented, it's a bit noisy when water is running through the hoses but I haven't found this noise to be objectionable.

Althought this says one hole installation, when I received it, it had a spray. The water connection lines were made of plastic, and looked cheap. The spray connector did have a close valve, but since I had no use for a spray, this closed valve would never sustain the pressure from the city water, and it would cause a massive leak. I really wish home depot would do a better job of describing these faucets on their website, as it is a waste to purchase the described item, just to receive something totally different. Other than that, its your typical, mass produced kitchen faucet, that probably will not last, but, its a good thing delta has a warranty, if they honor it.

I had a similar delta about 8 years old and it started leaking . I called plumber and he tried to rebuild it, even used white vinager to try and get the ball out but could not budge it. Price would have been $175,00 to repair. Now I have to get a new faucet and pay $250.00 plus tax to have it installed. Deltas are lifetime guaranteed and will send you the parts needed without charge BUT if you cannot get the faucet apart what good is the guarantee. Plumber suggested kohler or moen.

This is the perfect faucet for my kitchen sink, however, it came with the sprayer hook-up line, of which, was not in the description of this product. I don't have a sprayer, and no need for the hookup lines for a sprayer, especially since I need all the room I can get to get the hot and cold line in the hole. I MADE sure the faucet I selected did not have a mount base nor a sprayer as I can't use a mount base.

I really like this faucet. Correct installation is the key to loving this faucet. Some of the reviews indicated that it did not remain stable once installed. During the installation, I saw how that could be true if it is installed by one person. Someone needs to press down on the external hardware while the other person tightens the under mount and hoses. This is the model without the surface plate.

Poor mounting hardware, otherwise it's great.

I bought this exact model (Delta Classic 101-DST) at one of the other big box stores and had such a bad time with it that I felt compelled to leave this review here on Lowes. The quality of this faucet is fantastic, but the design of the mounting hardware is inadequate. See my pictures. The single mounting bolt is located at the back of the faucet, and so is the half-circle clamp. So, the back of the faucet is secured well, but the front isn't secured. Then, the plastic PEX supply tubes are so stiff that they contribute to the front of the faucet not staying down tight. The front of my faucet was visibly raised up by 3mm and would not sit tight in the escutcheon. I had it mounted on a regular old Kohler cast iron sink. There was nothing wrong or unusual about the sink. I've installed a number of faucets over the years and never had any trouble until this one. So disappointed.

Nice faucet and we're happy with it. When I installed it, I had to cut the pex lines. The instructions can guide you about how to work with the pex lines. I hooked up the pex lines to the existing old water valves and didn't have any leaks. It was pretty straight forward. The only thing I didn't like too much about the faucet was the mounting bracket that clamps the faucet to the sink from underneath. It's hard to explain unless you've ever done one before, but it's like a half crescent circle that tightens up underneath the sink. They've had that design for many years, but I think it could be improved upon. Sometimes, if you don't get that clamp situated just right then it might not tighten down properly, and your faucet could wobble. Also, that clamp can work great on one type of sink, but maybe not so great on different type of sink. Overall I think it's a great faucet. I just wish the mounting clamp was a bit more secure.

Very nice one handle faucet

We installed this faucet on a very small sink so we had lots of extra length on the hot and cold hoses. Also included were the hoses for the 3rd spray nozzle which was not included in this kit. I would have preferred they would not have been attached as it would have made this faucet easier to install.
