Works Okay Until It Leaks

I bought the Model P114LF Single Handle Kitchen Faucet almost four years ago through Amazon.com. A few days ago, a leak appeared on the sidewall of the faucet. A closer examination showed that the sidewall had split about halfway along its length. Peerless agreed to replace the faucet, but the labor is on me.

Never buying Peerless/Delta (same company) again

This faucet is garbage. Within 4 months, the chrome on the spout arm began blistering, then leaking from the blistered area RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SPOUT ARM!! I should have replaced the faucet right then, but it was such a pain in the rear to install w/ bad connectors for under sink (had to purchase better quality parts than came w the faucet), I put it off. Now the blistered area has ruptured through, & water sprays out several holes on the sides of the spout arm as well as out the spigot.

It was easy to install and works ok, except it sometimes thumps when it is turned on. It also has a high pitch whistel sometimes when the sprayer is turned on,the reason for the 4 star rating. My previous version of this same kitchen faucet that I installed about 20 years ago did not do this. It wore out at the handle shaft, and a repair kit, purchased at Home Depot could not repair the leaking "O" rings. I had so much good luck with my original Peerless faucet that I quickly decided to purchase another. I will see if it only is part of a wear in process, or a permanent condition, which would make this unacceptable and annoying to me and I shall ask for a replacement at such time. I hope that there is no time limit on this!

Nice budget faucet with sprayer.

The Core Single-Handle Standard Kitchen Faucet with Integrated Side Sprayer is very easy to install even for me..lol Rookie move on me I reversed the hot and cold duh, they really made it easy to not do that. The performance after four days is smooth operation, no drips, sprayer works well and it looks decent for economy model. If this lasts a year it will be worth it, I hope replacement valve parts are available? Worth the money and hour for installation.

No complaints so far. This replaced a new $100+ faucet my landlady had installed a couple of months earlier. The manufacturer confirmed that that one wasn't suitable to use with a portable washer/dish washer. Between the cost of faucet and the cost of the plumber, my landlady wasn't inclined to replace it, so I purchased this one for $42 and installed it myself. First time I ever installed a faucet. It was very easy.and doesn't require anything more than a crescent wrench for the water lines. The faucet itself is fastened into place by hand.

Nice, Basic Faucet

So far, my faucet from Peerless is great! It is not a high tech water faucet, but the ease of turning on and off the water is great, and the spray hose is a bonus. Great price as well, which I appreciate.

I've know had this kitchen faucet in a rental for about a month. It is a very serviceable and well built faucet. If you are looking for a good basic faucet you will be happy with this. The sprayer works well and it is very easy to install. Also, if you want to hook up a water purifier to it, it is very easy to do.

I replaced my faucet I installed 2 years ago. It was a 2 handled faucet that I couldn't stand. The only good feature about that one was it had the tall spout for rinsing big pots. It started leaking within 6 months. I hated the fact that I had to turn on both knobs to rinse my dishes. I love this single handle faucet from Peerless. It's clearly labeled that the kids can figure out which way to turn the handle for warm or cold water. The neck is up enough to where I can get my large pots under it, but, you have to be careful because it's a liitle tight. That's the only con I see with this faucet. It comes with the spray attachment that actually works. Most of the sprayers that come with the faucet are cheaply made and break after a weeks use. This one feels more solid and it's going to last longer than other ones I've used. It took me about 45 minutes to install. I didn't need to buy any materials to install the faucet and spray. It's made for sinks that have the 3 holes for the faucet and 1 for the sprayer. Actually, this is the first faucet I installed and there was no sign of any leak where I would have to take back off and add more plumbers tape. Very simple to install. The handle moves smoothly for adjusting the water temperature. I really believe this faucet isgoing to last quite a few years before I have any problems with it. Peerless is one of the leading faucet manufacturers and they make products that will last. I would definitely recommend this faucet to any consumer. It's a great faucet.
