Great mixer and controller, bad shower arm

The shower arm has a 90 degree bend which prevents the shower head from aiming the water flow as far back as you would probably like. The arm should have a 45 degree bend.

Shower and Tub Trim Kit American Standard

The product has limited availability in Matte Black finish as requested by client. To install this on a 10 year old mixer valve caused some challenges and modifications as now all newer shower valves are temperature controlled and pressure balanced. The tub spout, shower arm, shower head were all normal swap outs, the wall plate as well, it was only the handle mounting to an old style stem that required re-creation, drilling and tapping. Overall the quality and finishes were fine. Were we installing on current up to date mixing valves then we would rate this 5 star

Looks nice but trim piece keeps popping off

I just had my bathrooms redone and chose the Studio S line. The trim piece on my tub spout pops off so easily. It doesn't seem like a good design. There are no screws to keep it in place. Just drying it off makes it pop off. Has anyone had this problem?
