Cheap plastic, plate screws to short, handle set screw is eaither to long or not taped properly.

the cover cone for the valve is junk and leaks. i used the original but swapped the teflon ring. the main plate is a little larger which helped. but do not tighten too much as per directions will break

It’s plastic, not metal. Grossly overpriced for what it is.

Good Replacement
Due to either age or over tightening of the original installation, I had to drill the old handle out to get it off the shower valve. This refurb kit was a good match to the original Delta hardware, and in some ways maybe be a better design, mostly on how the handle attaches to the water valve.
Not a metal ring, it's plastic.
The large chrome ring is no longer metal, it's plastic. I have little faith that the ring will hold up to regular cleaning and it will look scratched up and terrible in short order.
Excellent quality replacement 1 handle Valve trim comes with the push button to divert water to shower head.
New home construction. So far so good!
Cheap plastic pieces that don’t fit
This kit has really cheap parts and is overpriced. And the main piece doesn’t fit. It’s fairly flat where as the OEM piece is indented in the middle. That means the valve is set back further than works with the plate.
It does not fit on Delta brand. False information. whole for screw not aligned. Hard to put on existing

Very good product. Unfortunately I will have to return this item because the hole in the wall in my shower is bigger than the plate, which is a mistake my plumber did. Thank you.
