Nice light, mediocre installation package

The light is excellent, with good mechanics (easy to adjust). This new version has a great new feature in that it uses a dimmable LED bulb rather than a disable incandescent halogen, as the earlier model we had does; that means the fixture remains cool even if the light is on for an extended period. The only shortcoming was that, for the price of this unit, we expected adequate installation gear. The wall plugs/anchors that accompanied it were very low grade and not really suited to the enclosed screws. We had to go out and purchase better-quality ones after we dinged up the wall pretty badly. Now the new ones are in, it hangs fine. If you have plaster or sheetrock walls, make sure when you install it that at least one screw is in a stud, because the fixture is quite heavy. Less

These were perfect in my guest room. Solid and very good looking. Very pleased.

The quality of the lamp is very good. Color is a true gunmetal, no red tones. Easy to assemble, moves into any position very smoothly. Very pleased with the purchase!

looked like item online, basic and unobtrusive if that is what you're looking to achieve. versatile for multiple uses beyond basic, shade is very basic. quality is ok, nothing special. shade is not very secure

I am using these lights in my kitchen over my sink. They put out great light with a low voltage bulb. I really like the antiqued brass, but the black shade has a very shiney inside lining that easily shows fingerprints. Also, shiney lining isjust too much with the antiqued brass fixture and black shade.Other than the liner, I really like these fixtures and would order them again.Pros: Good Size, Well Built, Nice Illumination, Area of IlluminationCons: Shiney Silver Lining, Difficult to Clean

Can use a regular 75 watt light bulb, has a dimmer built in, easy to instal,great design for ease in changing bulbs,well made, stylish in most decors hollow wall anchors sent with the light were not sufficient to hold the weight
