Beautiful sturdy lamp post

We bought one to replace one of our broken lamp post. The color was so unique and we liked it so much that we had to buy 3 more to complete the look. It totally refreshed our back yard!

This lamppost is beautiful. I recently moved & was very upset that I had to leave mine behind, but I was lucky to find it again @ Home Depot! I bought 2 just in case I move again. Many, many compliments! Nothing else compares!

Replaced a post damaged by fallen tree. Professionally installed with auto on/off at the base. So happy with the results. Beautiful.Used the "Dragon LIght" bulbs, a corn-cob type of light @ 15 watts per bulb. High output. Finding Low wattage, high output light was not easy. My efforts reduced my cost to run this lamp post to $4.08 per month total with a total light output of 45 watts. High-output brightest lites on my street. Added 2 outlets at the base for adding seasonal lights.

This light was ordered to replace a similar unit that had been damaged. The base matched perfect for easy installation. There was one interior assembly connection with small nuts that was very hard to reach but were evidently magnetized so I was able to install place them. I am very pleased also with the service from the Hanford, Ca. Home Depot.

Beautiful light

This light is super beautiful and tall. Installation was relatively easy except for the small post the lights attach to which is too small for a normal sized hand to fit in. I had to buy special long nose pliers and was ultimately able to get the last washer and nut on with some long angled tweezers. The base scratched easily when tightening the anchors nuts but you can’t tell unless you’re on the ground looking for it. Post is sturdy despite the weight.

Good value

Price was reasonable, I guess, given that I had the same lights for 15 plus years and paid less than $200 per light then. Assembly is straight forward, except for the lamp assembly itself, the lower nuts are nearly impossible to thread onto the bolts without speciality tools or a lot of patience.

Beautiful lamp post. Some difficulty with assembly.

Light fixtures were difficult to attach to upper pole section. Fixtures should come pre-attached. Other than that, the lamp post is beautiful and we are extremely happy with the way it looks.

1. Quality of the material is acceptable. Thin molded aluminum, but it works for the application.2. The small flat head screws that hold the center tube together, suck. They do not hold the tube rigid, and allow it to wobble around. Poor hardware selection by the manufacturer. I will be replacing with something else.3. Assembly of the light fixture into the center tube at the top, horrible design. Someone clearly did not think about how this is assembled for the average home owner. I was able to get it, but it is a terrible process. Someone in the engineering department needs to go back and re-design the attachment here.4. Overall happy with it. But there are some big design flaws holding this back.

Highly satisfied with the finished project!

We ordered online from the Evansville IN West Home Depot. Everyone there was great! Order came promptly, and the lampost came in complete form with all accessories for our electrician to install! It just looks beautiful in our yard!

Missing parts

Not happy with this purchase. The light came with missing parts and the directions could have been better. Lucky there was a hardware store down the road from me that i was able to pick up some parts. Again, more money to spend. I was able to put the light up, but it did take a long time and you will need special tools. Save your money and look somewhere else for a light.
