LOOKS CUTE, DOES NOT WORK

I turned it on..nothing! After a bit, the indicator lights came on and ONE burner...NO oven! Called the manufacturer...they blamed the electrician saying it had to be wired wrong. Had the electrician out again..nothing wrong. The stove fan started coming on and off at random...the stove top stopped working...oven never did Contacted the manufacturer AGAIN, they blamed the electrician again. This was all within 2 weeks. I sent it back. HORRIBLE STOVE

Don't Buy this Range !

Do not buy this stove ! We had trouble from the beginning getting the oven to light. Took a long time, and only got worse. Buying parts is a night mare and the manufacturer has stonewalled and made it very difficult to get the correct parts. I'm done and buying a replacement after 2 years. Too bad, would like to support a Canadian manufacturer.

Ordered 3X and Never Got a Working Unit

We had to exchange this item 3x due to the oven, fan and light arriving not working. The company (Unique) was impossible to reach and the exchange processes at Lowe’s were a nightmare. We finally decided to go with a modern stove which we are very upset about because we have had our eye on this company’s retro products for a long time. Unfortunately we couldn’t get one to arrive in working condition. It is VERY CUTE but the oven is small and doesn’t offer any of the perks a more modern stove may give you in terms of functions. Paying more for aesthetics - which I would be willing to do if the product actually WORKED. 🥲

Appalling Customer Service

We had to send the range back because it was damaged. We had paid $1999 on sale. They insist to replace the damaged range, I had to pay the current price of $2299. This makes no sense. We didn't damage the range. They should just honor the purchase price. Also, we stayed home 2 full days for delivery and they no-showed both times. They finally delivered the 3rd time. I found the same range at HD for $2026 and re-ordered from there. I haven't used the range, so could not give product review. It's great looking though!

It didn't work when it arrived. The stovetop did, but oven light and fan did not. Tried contacting the company three different times and they never responded. Home Depot was great, no problem there, they refunded our money and arranged to pick it up.

electric stove

remodeling a 105 yr old farm house, thought this stove and matching fridge would look awesome in here. They do however....the stove door doesn't close properly and can't really tell how to fix that. The knobs for the burners keep getting stuck so they won't turn. Trying to figure that out now. I see in most other reviews customer service is pretty much null.....great! You should get a bit more for what these darn things cost. So if you're looking for this retro look, find a different brand....

Paid over $2600 and it doesn’t work.

I bought less than a month ago and the oven and fan never worked. The service tech stated a few parts need replacing. Not sure why this is on a range that is 3 times the amount of similar products.

30 Inch Retro Range

The oven door does not fit, Tepperman's said call company, company will not return call. So now I have a oven door that does not open or close properly. This is the way it was delivered, DEFECTIVE!

Classic Problems

2nd stove and both do not work. burners don't work and oven doesn't heat above 400 degrees.

I love the look of the stove; however, my experience with this company has not been great. The first stove had a defective door and had to be returned. The second stove has a tendency to come on (or not turn off) and the oven is always warm. I'm in the process of trying to get this fixed now but the company has not contacted me after I went through Home Depot to get this reported in August. It is now end of November and I am going to have to contact Home Depot again.

I absolutely love my retro stove/convection oven. The color is outstanding ? I love it so much that I also purchased the dishwasher ??.

so far so good, but no clock or timer

This is a beautiful range (heavy though; almost 200 lb) with four cooking burners (one has two options; large and extra large burner rings) and a warmer burner. The oven is double racked and has a fan feature (not sure this actually qualifies it to be 'convection' though). I am not much of a cook so I have only used a few of the burners, with no problem. Havent used the oven yet. I cannot; however, believe that it has no clock or timer feature (yes, its supposed to be retro, but if you go flat glass top, then I think that ship sailed). Note that the topper is quite low (~41 inch total height), so I need to add tiles to the old backsplash to cover all the way down to the range.

New technology with a blast from the past

My wife and I absolutely love this oven. The old style look with new technology are perfectly paired. There’s something oddly fun about the toggle switches for the oven light and exhaust fan. The flat cooking top is super easy to clean and the burners heat up fast. There are even small lights on the front bottom of the cooktop to let you know when the burners are too hot to touch, and when they have cooled off enough, the lights turn off. The space in the oven is a little smaller than our old one, but will work just fine. The only small drawback I would have is the exhaust fan, while not crazy loud, is a little louder than you would think being a newer stove. But seriously, a very minor drawback, considering how nice the look and function of the oven.

Broke 2nd time I cooked with it

I just purchased a home that had been renovated (new kitchen). The Unique Appliance 30in range was brand new. Second time I used the oven, the knob stem got stuck and wouldn’t turn off so my oven remained on forcing me to turn the gas off to the appliance. Unique Appliance has avoided my attempts for assistance in what I should do to resolve the issue.

I placed an order for the Unique Electric Stove 3 weeks ago. It arrived today with missing components and no instruction manual. How does a company mess up that badly - this is basic stuff. No attention to detail.
