[Rewarded Review] NORMALLY A GREAT PRODUCT LINE -- BUT SOME ISSUES

I really like the Rubbermaid Brilliance Pantry line - I have purchased a few different sets (also food storage, etc.). I specifically ordered this 10-piece set to get the largest container (19 cup) and the taller pasta height (8 cup) containers. Unfortunately, as with Murphy's Law ... those 2 specific containers (and 1 other) came defective / scuffed. The rest of the containers seemed crystal clear. I wondered if this was an issue in manufacturing or if this was a product return. The temperatures in my area have been 100 degrees so I was not willing to drive back to the store to make a return - not worth the risk and wear and tear on me or the car in the extreme heat! So, I kept the canisters though they were less than perfect. With food inside the scuffs are less visible. Still, I don't prefer less than perfect purchases. These canisters are not inexpensive!

This is the second time I have ordered from the Rubbermaid Brilliance line and received items that were not as expected. I ordered the 10 piece pantry set -- and mainly was interested in the 2 largest containers in the set. As with Murphy's Law - both those pieces and another were scuffed on the plastic. It did not wipe off - it is a scuff. Most likely issues with production or perhaps it was a product return. I do not want the hassle of yet again running back to Walmart (especially in this 100+ degree heat)... so I will just keep the set. Fortunately, when the contents are inside it is less visible ... but I am disappointed that these items are less than brand new condition/perfect. I buy this Brilliance for the 360 degree clarity - not scuffs and haze.
