These lights look like the picture and are made reasonably well. Unfortunately, one of the bulbs of the two lights I bought, arrived broken. I'm planning to replace them with LED bulbs anyways, but if not I would have had to send it back or ask for a replacement bulb.

Modern meets traditional and sturdy

We just installed the Clifton sconces (2) in a living room and they look nice, although in person the bronze looked different than the photos to me. I like that it doesn't have glass and really like that they come with long bulbs that fit them perfectly (although they are a bit dim and the amber look which I'm not crazy about). They will do fine for the living room in one of my projects but I don't think I'll ever order these again, I just wasn't wowed when I unpacked them or put them up. Also, just as a detail: there is a slight reddish hugh on the bronze ones. Not all over but in a few places as a sort of weathered or antiquing effect. It's not bright, but if that makes a difference for you, you may want to know. Overall, I've been very impressed with this company's lighting but for some reason I wasn't real impressed with these lights in person. Less
