Very good company to work with
Initially, there were some internal components on the orb that would not allow some of the extensions to light. This was brought to the attention of Hinkley lighting, and they very promptly sent out a replacement quickly.
Excellent illumination. Unique design.
I spent quite a few hours of research on Sputnik lights. This was one of the more expensive options, but we were sold on its design (lots of light and edgier than most all Sputnik lamps on the market), color (we got the rose gold version, which doesn't appear to available anymore), and use of LEDs (I hate changing lightbulbs). It was installed in our miserably brown Midwestern house renovated to a cool West-Coast modern aesthetic (we moved from LA). Because we lived out of state during the renovation, an electrician assembled and installed it. The contractor said the electrician did not like screwing in all the tentacles. This chandelier hangs over our dining room table and it works perfectly in that capacity. We use a rheostat on this chandelier, and the LED lights have a little difficulty at lower luminance levels compared to other dimmable LED lights in our house. It's not a grave issue, just an observation. If we ever sell our house, we will take this chandelier with us.
Stunning
I love LED so this chandelier fit all my needs. Contemporary style for my condo plus energy efficient. Looks beautiful and very striking above my table.
