What the doctor ordered

I had been looking for a good quality dutch oven but I couldn't handle the weight of many of them. I am happy to say that this dutch oven is not too heavy for me at all and I am over 65 years old and have arthritis. It is top quality and beautiful. I love the cobalt blue color. The price was more affordable than some other brands.

My new favorite cookware

I have only recently discovered enameled steel cookware but am a total convert. The enamel doesn’t retain tastes or smells, and the substantial-but-not-ridiculous weight is a joy compared to cast iron. The enamel finish isn’t non-stick per se, but I find it easier to work with than stainless steel and it cleans up brilliantly. And they are beautiful.

website description lies!

Info on website is incorrect! Website says the Dutch Oven is rated for 600 degrees. Once you get the item shipped the manufacturer instructions for care say the product is only rated for 500 degrees maximum! I reported this to customer service yet the website has not been fixed. The customer service person apologized and told me I would get a full refund and to keep, donate, or throw out the item instead of returning it. Now weeks later Macy’s is demanding I return it! I have already donated it and bought another Dutch oven from a more reputable company.

7QT cobalt. So beautiful period. It's for life. What kind of country makes things like this? It reflects well on them. Whatever you make, from mash potatoes to soup to beef stew, it's such a pleasure to own and use this beautiful piece of craftsmanship and art. Love the cream colored interior. Different than all cast iron, innovative, lighter, that's what sold me at first. But the beauty...just makes me happy every time I see it. It's good to be surrounded by beauty. Better than expected

Even better than I expected, I’ve made 3 dishes so far and all perfect! The stuffed peppers were amazing, cooked evenly and moist even on leftover day. And the cleanup has been a breeze!
