Great tub to use coupon on for significant saving!
I bought this tub to replace a shallow steel tub which wouldn't even let me submerge my legs fully. I got this one over my primary choice (Hydro Systems SYD6032ATOS) due to availability. This model has a hardened fiberglass resin bottom and feet which don't require a mortar base for during installation. Also the **% coupon worked on it which helped a lot in lowering bath remodel costs.
Poor Quality Control
Tub has a great look and the gel coat finish seem good. However the manufacturing quality control is extremely poor. Overall length was 60.25 instead of 60 causing fit problem in the alcove. Front face was not square and had to be adjusted by cutting tub structure boards underneath and reattaching. 6 leveling pads not sufficient to provide a solid feel when in tub as it sounding like it was going to crack. Had to re-enforce bottom. Overflow was 1/4"off from center. Overall I would avoid this manufacture.
I wanted to love this tub
I purchased this over a much cheaper tub due to the look, and dimensions. I was looking for a wide footprint, very tall alcove tub with a modern look. This hit the marks in terms of dimensions and syle.I read the reviews and am someone who always balances good and bad reviews to know that one person's bad experience is not necessarily indicative of what I'll experience.Less than 2 weeks after having this tub professionally installed in an overall bathroom reno, the bottom of the tub cracked in one place. There are also spots in the basin of the tub that feel "soft" as in - too much give when you stand on it - and worrying that those sections may crack as well. I contacted Jacuzzi and fortunately they offered us a replacement under waranty but it doesn't cover any of the cost of the labor to replace it which is disappointing, as that's nearly 3x the cost of the tub overall. After spending thousands on a renoation too now have to spend an additional several thousand to replace a defective item is frustrating. We have yet to reinstall the new tub due to issues getting on the schedule with our contractor and I'm anxious about this tub also being defective with little to no recourse to repair if it is. Jacuzzi Linea Bathtub
This bathtub is beautiful. It has a completely flat front, which is what i wanted. We bought it for our bathroom update. I wanted a soaker tub, and this tub has a very nice depth for that. The plumber who installed it noted that the support structure underneath was better than normal which he appreciated. (and I had specifically chose this model for $200 extra over the same design without the extra support). My only complaint was that the first tub arrived damaged with a bashed in area on the front. There was almost no protective packaging - only the outside cardboard container in the area of damage. Shame on Jacuzzi for packaging their expensive bathtubs so poorly. The 2nd tub arrived in good shape.
Love this tub but...
This tub is seriously beautiful and I love it. Unfortunately, the toe tap stopper broke and the only way to get a replacement is to buy a whole kit that is over $100. So, I have to screw in the stopper by hand and unscrew it after a bath. So Frustrating. It broke after about 14 months of maybe twice a month use.
Was nice, now broke.
Can no longer control lights or motor from control panel. Light will turn on but not off and motor will not start. Now what?
Excellent tub except one serious design flaw
Love this tub - the color and modern clean, linear lines. We shower almost exclusively but also wanted a soaking tub for those rare occasions. The 32" width is great when standing in the tub as the edges are vertically straight (does not go narrow at the base). The one design flaw I discovered AFTER it was installed is that after a shower, the horizontal tub edges retain water, leaving a deep pool of water between the tile/grout and the inside edge where the grout and tub meet. There is not a single degree of slope toward the inside of the tub to shed the water, leaving it to stagnate there. I've never seen this before on any tub and this discovery was really disappointing. We now have to squeegee the pools of water off the grout after every shower so that the grout is not siting in 4mm of standing water. Other than that I love the tub. Would I buy it again knowing this? No. Would I recommend this tub? Yes if you plan to take baths more than showers, or are willing to remove the standing water after every shower. Less
a soaker you can actually soak in
this tub is super deep. you can actually soak your whole body in the tub without having your knees out of water. also it looks really nice too.
Great tub
Great tub nice and clean look.
Beautiful tub
Beautiful sleek design.
Sleek tub
Great looking tub. It’s exactly what I was looking for. Wanted a square, deep soaking tub and this is exactly that. It’s also a perfect white.
Beyond Poor Quality Control
I had to get this tub replaced three times for poor quality control - cracks the first time, scratches and terribly molded corner of the flange. The tub is beautifully designed, but execution is beyond terrible. Will never purchase a Jacuzzi branded tub ever again.
Poor quality control
Poor quality control. Tub had a warped fascia and had to be returned. Opted for a Kohler replacement instead. In addition, the linear overflow cutout was not level with the tub rim.
Best seat in the house!
Spent $1979 worth every penny! I’m sitting in the tub right now!! I remodeled the whole bathroom and recommend this tub to anyone looking for relaxation
Modern Look, Just what I was looking for as far as aesthetics. Only Con is, It really was not a bright white when compared to my newly purchased vanity, tiles, and toilet. Who knew there were many shades of white...
Sleek, Pretty & Comfy!
We LOVE our Linea® bathtub. It offers the clean, modern look we wanted. Our contractor and plumber said it was a breeze to install. Best of all is that it is comfortable and deep!
Our favorite spot in the house!
We live in an older home and completely gutted our upstairs bath last summer. We chose the Linea tub, and have been extremely happy with our decision. The simple, classy design fits in to our retro bathroom, and the depth provides a wonderful soaking experience.
Love it
I love this tub so much that I installed one in our second bath. Very clean and modern looking and it's huge inside. Perfect soaker tub. I recommend a bath pillow if you like to lay and rest your head.
