Cheap - don't buy

These are terrible. They only stay on the wall for a few weeks or months and then fall, then you have to replace them. It's easier and cheaper just to use a nail or another type of hanging instrument.

I have used these throughout my house, to display my own canvas art. As my house is rented, I can’t use traditional hanging methods. I am not permitted to make hole in the walls. I prep the wall area by cleaning with a little alcohol and allow to dry. I apply hanger according to directions and leave to “set” for at least an hour, sometimes longer. They hold my art well. They are also super easy to remove providing you pull the tab straight down until the hanger releases. If you pull it out, it will damage the paint, so straight down always.

Works well!

I was tired of patching nail holes in my wall. A friend suggested I try these and I’m very happy! Holds my canvas and seems secure! I wouldn’t recommend applying to your skin. I’m bald and put into on the top of my head as a joke. It still came off easily and relatively painlessly, but if you tried anywhere more sensitive it could be dangerous. Or awesome, I dunno. In fact, maybe it would be totally great! I gotta go get more!

Easy to hang up your picture, but not sure how long that will last

So far so good. It was easy to hang up my picture, and so far it's been holding up. I am not giving it a full 5 star review (yet), because I want to see how long it lasts. There have been incidences with the Command picture hangers where the glue would stop working after 6-12 months. If you are worried about breaking the frame or damaging the picture, I would go with another method of hanging up your picture.

These are awesome. I use them to hang artwork in my home. I don't like nails and putting holes in the walls of my brand new home. I change my artwork frequently and this allows me to do so without damaging the walls.

I recently used one of these large hangers to mount a wrapped canvas painting on which I had removed the original sawtooth hanger. Once I measured the space and centered the strip, I had no problem fixing it to the wall. I deducted 1 star because the depth of the top of the plastic on which the painting rests is only 5/8". My wrapped canvas's frame depth is about 1-1/2". Although the frame didn't wobble when I placed it, I wonder if the painting will shift position after awhile. Command could make a more secure large canvas picture hanger with a greater depth.

These worked great. I had to hang several dozen paintings for a 3-day art exhibition where nails weren't allowed and I used various Command products for the different sizes & shapes of paintings. I used these Picture Hangers to hang mostly 12x12 paintings and they worked perfectly and were very easy to align in a good configuration on the wall. The key is to *follow the instructions*. I used alcohol prep pads to wipe the walls clean first, then applied the adhesives as instructed, then waited 1 hour before hanging, and everything worked perfectly. When it came time to remove, the trick is to pull straight down very slowly and every single one removed cleanly from the wall.

Not for large canvas

BTW large canvases always have wooden frame bit that goes right through the middle to keep canvas tight. So this hanger simply doesn’t work for large ones. You have to use 2 of these hangers on either side of centre wood frame, that’s what I’m doing for one canvas. I bought 2 for my 2 canvases ( 60x90 cm) artwork but realised I have to use both hangers for a single canvas. If you have a canvas that simply has just a square frame with empty space behind, go for it. Or buy two of them for LARGE Canvas.
