faulty product and bad service

I bought one of these and the interior light wouldn't turn off. I tried to return it but was told I had to call the mfg. first. That was a joke - all the phone numbers were shot off- finally googled a got a # and an e-mail. No response. Back to Build.com and they said I had to take a picture of the Label on the box and send that in and I did. No answer and my return claim just went away and showed cancelled 1 day. I had to buy another mirror to make my client happy and had to eat the cost of the other mirror. Bad experience - no customer support or service.

Poor Packaging

Mirror appeared to be beautiful but there is not protective packaging so it is cracked. I ordered it twice and both mirrors arrived damaged. The mirror is not protected.

The glass shelves were damaged, even on the replacement order. The packaging is not protecting the shelves that are on the edges of the box.

This medicine cabinet is beautiful and spacious. It fits in all my medicines and creams while having the most amazing lighting on the outside as well as in the inside of the cabinet. The defogger is the best feature because it prevents the mirror from blackening in the corners (which is what happened to my last cabinet). Its expensive but worth the extra money.

I purchased one cabinet initially, fearing that based upon some earlier reviews that it might come with a broken mirror or two. When it came, the exterior of the cardboard carton was beaten up but the packing was so thorough with multiple layers of honeycomb corrugated cardboard and an inner closed cell foam box that everything was intact. The product itself is very good. I was surprised how effective the lights inside the cabinet are. When the doors are open the combination of these lights and the mirror at the back of the cabinet and on the back of the doors provide an intimate view of your face as well as showing off the contents of the cabinet. The lights mounted in the doors facing out through the sandblasted areas in the mirrors on the front of the cabinet are good, but not as effective as those inside the cabinet. I was surprised and pleased that the two illuminated touch-pad switches in the mirror surface for the heated mirror and cabinet lighting make a good night light with just enough illumination to see your way around in the bathroom in the dark. I liked the product so much that I purchased a second one for another bathroom.

Ordered 2 - one was pretty much garbage via shipping. Major hassle to get parts replaced and many supposed scheduled attempts to pick up the replacement unit (yes, they sent a whole unit for me to pick parts from...) which ended up resulting in HOA fines to the point where it just had to be tossed. As far as the unit itself goes - it's OK, not really worth the price. Light is pretty dim to the point of not being super useful. The wiring harness is also sketchy and about zero consideration was given for making wiring flush on the top panel. In reality, I'd pay *maybe* half of the price for this - kinda garbage otherwise.
