Leaky

Very easy to install and looks great. Very difficult to stop leaks from the spout connection. Finally stopped the leak with a thicker Teflon tape.

I love this faucet, its different and gets the most attention in my powder room. However, Ive had to call the plumber twice because it keeps leaking.

So far, so good. This looks nice and matches other fixtures. Nice quality too. I wish could ‘flip it’ to have handle on the other side…but that’s a very small gripe.

Love this sleek and stylish faucet for our spare bathroom renovation. I will say, it was a CHORE installing it. But, once installed, looks unbelievable! The sink and mirror are also from Wayfair.

Awesome wall mount fixture. Looks like something that would cost hundreds of dollars more at a local store. It definitely take some planning in the wall for the valve handle add temperature control. Will definitely use this product again.

I just received he product, and it looks study, clean, and no problems. Have not installed yet, but looks like sturdy construction. Read through the instructions and they are simple.

We love the trough design. Really nice quality. The pieces are well made and have heft to them! The matte black goes really well with our Vigo turquoise glass sink. Not fully installed yet, but have tested it and it works great!

Hello For those DIYs thinking of installing this faucet in North America be apprised the faucet uses G type BSPP water connections. These are 1/2 inch non tapered thread unlike most North American fittings which are tapered NPT fittings. You will either need G type fittings or G type to NPT adapters. The faucet will leek if this is not taken into account during hookup. G type fittings also require compression washers. The threaded fitting for the spout does not come with a compression washer and locknut. This can be a concern it you are relying on the fitting to “extend” the spout connection any distance from the fully seated position. A 1/2 G type locknut and compression washer solves the issue. Look carefully at the instructions for which connection is hot and which cold. The escutcheon plate is etched with Vigo. Fit and finish on the product are excellent.

Looks Great. Valve Body is Terrible

I will start off by complimenting the looks of this thing. They hit the mark there. Its just such a shame that the brass valve body is of such poor construction. Just like all the other reviewers, I was plagued with leaks at the fitting connections. Like was pointed out in other reviews, the threads are cut too deep, so most fittings bottom out before actually making use of the pipe thread taper. Upon inspecting further, I found that the body was cracked. I exchange the faucet for a new one and made sure to mummify the fittings with tape and that seemed to do the trick.

Great item! Very tricky to install i am a professionnal plumber and i would advise you to seek help.. this is not really a DIY progect. In dosent contain any patron for wall depth installation and all screw in taps are very loose still.. if installed well it isnt a problem. Looks like a very high end product for a low low price!

Frustrating installation!

Good materials but poor workmanship. I had to solder the hot water inlet as teflon tap and pipe dope did not stop the leak. The pipe threads in the valve body were cut too deep and the coupling bottomed in the valve body before it tightened. The discharge spout also leaked. It pushes onto a part with three o-rings that was threaded into the valve body. The o-rings did not seal in spite of no water pressure, so I wrapped the three grooves with two rounds of teflon tape and reinstalled the o-rings. In all, too many failed test runs and modifications - very frustrating but eventually it works. Only a good recommendation.

Beautiful on the outside but difficult on the inside

I bought two of these beautiful wall mount faucets approximately 2 months ago. The only issue I have with them is that it took an enormous amount of Teflon tape to keep the rough in for the mixer and the spout to stop leaking. Especially the spout. I had to wrap at least 1/8 of an inch of tape around the threads to get it to stop leaking. I even tried pipe dope with Teflon tape and that didn’t work. It took me six times before I managed to stop water from leaking from behind the spout. i almost called the company to ask if there was a trick to getting it to stop or if they had a bad lot. They are brass fittings, and they can be tricky but these were very loose. I would recommend this faucet to a friend, but only if they were having them professionally installed or were very patient.

This faucet is beautiful. Arrived quickly and was excellently packaged. Have not installed yet. Gave it four stars as it has proven to be difficult to find fixtures for the tub/showers that match this faucet.

Poor function

The flow rate is so slow that you never get hot water. I ran it an hour and still icy cold. I emailed Vigo, and their first response was to demand I produce the receipt so they could make sure it was still under warranty. Wish I never bought it.

So disappointed. This is gorgeous, EXCEPT for the bright orange VIGO logo on the middle bottom of the wall plate. So many photos featured that either strategically hid it or photo shopped it out. Should have studied review photos instead. Very misleading. Will return.

Installation was straightforward. The faucet works great and we love the flow, which is enough to wash and rinse hands thoroughly, but not so much that water comes gushing out. The mechanism is very solid and easy enough for my 4 year-old to wash her hands by herself. My only complaint is that the finish isn't as waterspot / fingerprint proof as I would have hoped. Overall we're very happy with the product, which goes perfectly with our vessel sink.
