Beyond Expectations

Everything I expected and more! We should have bought these years ago. Clean up is a breeze. All those years I spent finding the "right" nonstick pans... I plan to add to my set. Cooking made easy!

Bummed

I’m a bit disappointed. It seems like after the first use, my pans seem to be showing black marks or are cloudy. I don’t use high heat and I wash them by hand. I don’t know if that’s expected or normal, but they are new and shouldn’t look like I’ve had them for years already.

Great cookware, but problems with food sticking

I got rid of my non-stick cookware that had stuff flaking off in favor of this stainless steel cookware. I don't regret it! This cookware heats SO quickly and cooks evenly. However, in spite of pre-warming over medium heat as advised, eggs stick to the pan every. single. time I cook them (which is daily). Oil, butter, it doesn't matter what I use. The cookware is also difficult to return to spotlessly clean, again, even after trying all the ideas I read online. Such a great set of cookware, but difficult to clean.

Gorgeous, but stains.

The set is gorgeous! It is a heavy gauge and feels sturdy. Unfortunately, I've noticed the stainless steel has developed spots after a single use. My water is hard and drawn from an aquafer. Guess it can't be avoided and will have to figure out how to keep it pristine.

Great set on pots and pans. All exactly what I needed. Wish there was one more pan. The two sizes of pans provided work well just wish I had an extra.

This set is beautifully crafted and I am sure that they will last for many years. I own a Food Trailer and I know quality when I see it. I recommend this cook set for seasoned chefs and homemakers who want a quality product.

Not just another pretty face

This is my first set of Cuisinart Stainless Cookware. It's so beautiful and shiny, I actually took a picture of it after I unpacked and washed it. I also purchased a new glass top electric stove, so both products were brand new. The cookware advises to use the low to medium settings only, which I have. It cooks evenly and quickly. I was used to using nonstick cookware and that concerned me a bit, but I didn't have any real issues. I have used the skillets and the sauce pots so far. I used the big skillet for a casserole. I prepped the ingredients on the stove and popped the skillet with the lid on right into my oven to bake. I really love that part. It also cleans up easily for the most part. Now, the reason it didn't get 5 stars: while Cuisinart isn't outrageously expensive, the cost and the pretty shininess does make you want to take good care of it. I used the correct detergent to clean it but I noticed a rainbow effect on the inside bottom of the pan. I used baking soda and vinegar and let it set for a few minutes and that took care of it. I have ordered specialty cleaner, so we'll see. Now, just yesterday, after I had washed the skillet, the outer bottom seems to be yellowing, or somehow discolored. I don't know what that is about. Cuisinart has always had a good reputation for their cookware, so I'm hoping the new cleaning product will handle it. Overall, 4 stars for this product.

I was always nervous about stainless without nonstick but after ready proper way to use it my eggs didn't stick. It's been easy clean up!

The 11 piece Chef's Classic Stainless Cookware Set is great! They are sturdy and beautiful to look at, nothing like stainless steel! My wife loves them and cooks many delicious meals with them. It's a healthier way to cook rather than using non-stick type sets. Love them!
