Great steamer

Surprise Double Steamer

It makes a great double steamer when you use it with the Cuisinart Classic 3.5 qt. Stainless Steel Sauté and Steamer Set.

Product is as expected. Did both my sauce pans - 1.5 qt and 2 qt - both Cuisinart.

YES!..FINALLY found a stainless steamer that fits ALL my saucepans....the name says QUALITY,and i LOVE the handle as it is super easy to grip and carry..now this is veggies steamed right!

Nice Pan

This is a great size and weight for a steamer pan. But when I read the instructions, it said not to use it on high heat to avoid discoloration. But the third time I used it, I was in a hurry and forgot and heated it on high. I noticed later little pitted type spots and some discoloration. This is on the base pan that sits on the stove and you partially fill with water. It is not on the steamer basket with the holes. Just disappointing for a quality brand like Cuisinart.

I like this steamer pot. Even though it's universal, I would recommend that you used this with at least a 3 quart pot.

For my son. He is a healthy eater of all kinds of veggies so this is a well-used item nearly every day.

Cusinart steamer

It’s a good weight for steaming. I do not like the taste of using a well known pressure cooker to steam vegetables. I have some other Cusinart cooking pans. They are sturdy but not so heavy on my arthritic hands.

I use this weekly to steam hard boiled eggs for the week. Great quality! Fits on several of my other pots!

This fit three different sizes of sauce pans. Perfect to steam my veggies!

In all I reviewed this turned out to be the best!

I needed a replacement for my 2 Qt scorched steamer without having to replace the pan, so I was pleased when I found this option from Cuisinart. It had the feature to use with different size pans. In theory it would be ideal. It did fit my 2 Qt pan but was a bit top heavy & awkward. Cuisinart makes quality products, this one just didn't meet my needs.
