Absolutely worth it! Purchased this for my husband since he is only drinking tea and the multi temp features are so easy for a quick cup. It's not too large and sits nicely on our counter top.

Just buy it!

This kettle is a little pricier than others, but the quality is incredible. Soft open button, glass top adds a little extra something. There’s a button for pressed coffee temp, which I didn’t know there was an optimal temp for. I use the oolong and green tea temp settings most often. My favorite thing is the lid opens wide for easy cleaning. Other kettles I’ve had have only opened part way. It’s a little darker blue than I expected, but it’s still very lovely and worth the wait and price. I love Breville products!

Disappointing Kettle

I too have experienced this kettle ceasing to work after only a year. Along with the expensive price tag, I have not received any communication from Breville on how to replace/refund this item.

Very attractive and well-made kettle

Really lovely kettle, works exactly as described. I really like the handle and the see-through window. I’ll be trying more tea so I can use all the different settings.!

Where's the light?

I've used this for about 5 days. Looks great, heats water quickly, love that the water level is visible on both sides of the carafe. Why did they not light up the water level? For $200 the water level should be visible and it is not. It's a guessing game. Even my $30 Hamilton Beach had a light up water level.

I recently purchased this kettle within the last two months. So far, it has been working without mishap. The option of using different temperatures for an array of teas and coffee is a luxury that my last kettle did mot have. I am enjoying this new function immensely! The colour is beautiful and matches with my red Kitchen Aid stand mixer. I previously owned two other Breville tea kettles that only lasted one to two years. Unfornately, upon near exhaustive research I do not think most kettles last longer than this. In summary, might as well go with Breville as their return policy is better than others. Also, I love supporting an Aussie brand.😊🇦🇺

Too expensive not to last

This electric kettle was gifted to me in the gold color. It worked very well initially. At least for a year. And then, it didn’t. The kettle began shutting off and would need to be restarted. At first, I would only need to restart it once and then it was good to go. But that was temporary and now, it has to be restarted multiple times. It does not work without someone standing there and starting it over and over and over. I would not recommend buying this electric tea kettle. For $200 I expected it to last much longer than 3 years. The manufacturers warranty is only good for one year.

An Exposed Nail Inside

I received a message that my kettle was delivered to the store and ready for pickup. So happy to get it but once I took it out of the box and looked inside of the pot I noticed some type of nail device attached to the inside of the bottom of the kettle with the tip inside exposed. Is there supposed to be a covering over it?
