The water seemed to boil quickly when plugging it in the receptacle. The only problem was the lid was sticking when I tried to open and close it.

I purchased one of these months ago and it's so great I bought another one for the camper. We go camping a lot and my wife loves it for quick boiling water for coffee, tea, oatmeal, and hot water for dishes or rinsing out socks or unmentionables in the camper tub or a basin. It saves a lot of time and also saves using the campers bottled gas (when we have access to electric at a campground). Price and shipping was great!

Arrived USED

Shipped in flimsy bag. Boxed arrived damaged. Item inside the box had clearly been used before, evident by crumbs and water marks on Kettle. Handle also felt oily %26 dirty.
