weak metal flange.

Reconditioning house with downstairs 1/2 bath, but crawlspace water damage, so subfloor bolts/screws of original PVC flange were rusted/weak/loose, toilet would shake. Had installed new waterproof laminate, and thought this would be the easy fix to stabilize flange. After installing, mounted toilet, tightened nuts, but the flange is too thin/weak, and just buckled upwards into the recess of the toilet, and would not ever get secure/stable. Removed the Danco unit, and then had to go down into the crawlspace, cut and fit several sections of 2x4's to bolster the mounting area just beneath/around the original flange up against the subfloor, and then from above drilled new holes through the eom flange, and used 3.5" construction screws to secure the original flange to the subfloor and the supporting 2x4's=SOLID MOUNT and was then able to install toilet and no more wiggle! I read several of the reviews and happy that it worked for them, but it was a complete failure for me. The metal flange material at the mounting to toilet bolts section needs to be a few gauges thicker IMHO. YMMV. Good Luck.

No brainer!

HydroSeat made my toilet replacement extremely easy. It was either replace the original broken flange, or use the HydroSeat. Lower cost and much easier solution with HydroSeat.

This helped me to repair a cracked flange without having to replace the whole flange.

I wish I had found these years ago, it saves time and gives you a solid base to mount your throne upon !

I used this to replace a rusted flange on a concrete slab floor. I drilled four holes in the concrete to mount the flange. I added a wax ring and placed the toilet over the built-in bolts. The repair took around 10 minutes. This is a great product.

Replacement Flange-Did not perform as expected

It was supposed to fix a broken flange and it did not work how the instructions said. You have to have a specific break in old flange or remove it before this will work. Wasted my money on this one.

What a great idea! My previous flange was damaged as was the surrounding concrete. This allowed me to repair the flange issue without the trouble (and downtime) of replacing the flange in the pipe.

I thought I was going to have to saw into the subfloor with a cracked flange. I used some construction adhesive to mend the flange and installed this over the top. It is working flawlessly. I am very impressed with the design.

Thanks to the tabs coming out from the side of it it's solve the problem for us that other styles would not have been able to do.

Worked perfectly installed over new laminate floor. Wax ring under the new toilet flange sealed perfectly. Solidly screwed through the laminate into the subfloor. Sealed the new toilet perfectly without messy wax and bolted down easily.
