Large capacity, sturdy enough. Placed it on top of my TV stand since my TV is wall-mounted, then screwed it down for stability. Looks good this way while saving space.

Zero issues! In love with this media case as I use it to store my 4k Blurays! Works perfectly, shiped fairly fast, and arrives with no dents or cracks. Was easy to put together, only wish I might've gotten the larger unit for more space since it's already filled up for the most part lol! Great product overall!!

Low Quality

Very low quality and not worth your time. After completing the build I did not feel safe about putting my games and movies on the shelving. -Screws and dowels barely fit into the holes, will take a lot of effort to attach. -Backing needs to be nailed in rather than slotted in. -Other shelving I have built from a certain Swedish company is better quality and at a better price.

Handy Shelf

I needed space for all my media, and this shelf really delivered. It was easy to install and set up, even coming with a brace to attach to the wall so it doesn’t fall over. I liked it so much I even ordered a second one. For the price, I am quite satisfied.

So Disappointed!!

Barely opened and already I can’t believe how much this costs. This shelf unit is not finished on all sides. It’s noted as laminate and as someone who has specified laminate this is far from it. The shelves look as though they are wrapped in black plastic or tape. I will be returning immediately.

Great CD double width storage unit

This is a very nice unit and well priced. It wasn't the easiest to put together, but with the help of my son-in-law, who's a good 'handyman,' we managed it. I have approximately 400 compact discs and there is still lots of room in the cabinet for more. The unit was received without any damage and the ordering and pick up was seamless. All in all, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

For the price, this CD/DVD rack is perfect for what we needed. We have almost 700 CDs and they all fit easily. The back seems a little flimsy, even after it's nailed on. Because of the slimline of this cabinet, I would not be comfortable having it freestanding. I needs to be up against a wall. The product meets our expectations.

Yes, easy to assemble with a nice result. Going by the illustration on the instructions, 44 nails would have been part of the hardware complement but 36 did the trick on the back. Everything was there, it went together quickly, and is exactly what I wanted it to be. One top corner looked like it took a hit during shipping, but they enclose a black marker pen to color it in. You can't tell it's scratched. I was a bit reluctant to buy it because of some of the horror stories by other customers about things like the screws not screwing in due to oversized holes. No such problem. I would recommend this product to friends.

I and a friend assembled the dvd rack. No issues. But I realized I could only get 5 usuable shelves, instead of 7 provided. The space needed for dvds only allowed 5 usable levels, so I ended up with 4 unused shelve pieces. The picture accompanying the product shows 8 levels of (I take it dvds), but there is no way 7 or 8 levels of dvds would fit into the rack height. Other than this, the rack is stable, when fully loaded, and looks good. I plan on buying another one, since I have far more dvds than one rack will hold.

Worth it for the Price on sale

So I bought this to replace my old unit that didn't match the rest of my entertainment units. Looking at the specs and seeing the picture lead me to believe that it would be perfect for all my DVDs and VHS tapes. I have attached pictures to explain along with my review. So the specs say that the depth of this unit is 8inches assembled I figured at most about an inch or so but the shelves are actually only about 5inches maybe less wide I was very disappointed with this because it means double editions or boxsets end up having a serious overhang.

The cabinet went together very well. The only issue I have is the back. The backing is split in 4 thin pressed cardboard pieces, two pieces are held together with tan packing tape on each side instead of having one solid piece of wood on each side. This makes it less strong and cheap, an inexpensive packaging solution for the manufacturer. The whole cabinet is made of Particleboard, with no solid wood pieces.

Solid CD storage shelves!

I've been looking for CD storage that will hold around 600 or so CD's. I've purchased "inexpensive" storage in the past, and it was so flimsy and made of such shoddy material that the last time we moved I just took them to the curb.

Media Storage Rack

Two small chips in the cherrywood surface of the assembled rack. (The kit was properly packaged, and the carton was undamaged, so the chips probably occurred prior to shipment.) The promotional picture of the finished cabinet does not disclose that the underside of the top is bare, unfinished wood. The back of the cabinet is also bare and unfinished, which, at the price, ought at least to be finished black. Tolerances for nailing the back to the cabinet are very close.

I ordered two of these media cabinets. They were received in perfect condition. Assembly was pretty easy using the provided instructions. (Note: the assembly picture displayed many more nails used for attaching the back then were actually supplied with the units.) The shelfs are easily configurable to hold my different sized media (CD, Blu-Ray, DVD). The assembled units look nice and I'm perfectly happy with this purchase.
