Looks and works great!

Our contractor and I selected this hardware to use on an old, beautiful, solid wood door which was made into a pocket door for our new bathroom. It was easy to install, looks beautiful (we bought the black color) and is easy to use. And, the value was excellent.

Attractive to look at but terrible to install

The kit comes with 4 pieces of hardware to install: a strike plate, a patch plate, the handles/lock, and the pull patch. Besides being very tedious to install, the instructions are partiality in metric measurements and partially in imperial measurements. Best of luck finding a 54 mm holesaw bit in the US. 2" is too small, and 2 1/4" is too big.

I just installed this on a customers pocket door. Outstanding quality product. Installation went smoothly due to step by step instructions. Matte black finish on the hardware was extremely smooth and the finish product looks very good. I’ve used Delaney in the past and will continue to use it.

Solid and smooth operationally. A little involved with lots of different drill bits required, time consuming to install but looks great after. Like that it came with the pull, flush enough not to hit the opening when sliding and it looks perfect in our old house!

Fit the hole fine, however the operation of the lock is very rough. Tried adjusting for better function, but no joy. The finish is nice.

The latch was beautiful and seemed to be good quality. However the instructions were in metric so it was making install very difficult. I decided to return it and get something different instead of messing up my door.

Lacks functionality

I bought this for the color, and that’s about all that I like about it. The construction does not seem particularly strong, and the latch lacks the usual pull tab that allows you to pull the door from its pocket (so there is no way to retrieve the pocket door when it is all the way in). Not a good design.

I like the look of this lock a lot but...

I like the look of this lock a lot but it was really finicky to install. There is zero tolerance on the latch and because it was a new install, getting the alignment and operation just right took quite a bit of effort. I was also a little disappointed with the red/green flag on the outside of the lock, It's very small and not as bright as in the pictures so you can't really even notice it unless you know its there.

Nice latch, poor online description.

This latch is very nice. It works well and looks great. My only complaint is with the product description provided when looking it up online pre-purchase. The description is incomplete because it does not include any information about the pull mechanism. All pocket door latches have to have a way of pulling the door closed from the fully open position since the door is flush with the door jamb when it is fully open. In the case of this unit the pull is a separate piece that also has to be installed. The one that it replaced did not because the pull was self contained. It would be very beneficial for the shopper to be able to know that ahead of time.
