Massive tea kettle--get clarity on size before you order

This is a beautiful and functional kettle at a great price (when on sale). But it's huge. I wasn't paying close enough attention when I ordered. It is way too big for one tea drinker. I did pass it along to a friend who loves the size. So it's a good thing for the right person/household.

Love this kettle. Love the wide opening and the look of the kettle. I do wish it had a whistle.

Resto Tea Kettle

I have bought the same kettle about 2010 and have been using it since then - Excellent kettle. This new purchase is for my son who will be moving to his own home.

The strong, silent type

It's nice and shiney--and big. And quiet! Can hardly tell when water boils, which might be not so hot.

Too big

My mistake - but this kettle is too big, and I will probably have to by another because it is annoying me. Goes to show the problem of buying online. Not the first time this has happened - that a purchase is not what you expected.

This kettle is very sturdy and great looking. It pours nicely too. I probably should have gotten a smaller size as it is quite heavy.

It’s OK. Bigger than I anticipated though it does the job. Considering my last kettle made a whistling sound once water had boiled, it’s a little disconcerting to be using this Demeyere and have to figure when the water is ready.

I loved the Tea Kettle. It was exactly as the picture showed it. The problem I had was it was larger than I realized, therefore, making it too large for my stove. I chose the smallest kettle offerred. If I needed to heat water as I was preparing dinner, the kettle would touch the skillets and pans; therefore, I could not use both at the same time. So, I had to return the tea kettle for a refund. I was disappointed when the shipping and handling was subtracted from my refund. I ask if I could exchange the kettle for a replacement and pay any difference. I was informed I had to return the item and receive a refund; then, place a new order for a different kettle. But I was not told I would be charged a shipping and handling fee to return the kettle. In previous purchased items, if I needed to make a return, I was not charged a fee. I should have read the return policy. My mistake. It was an excellent tea kettle therefore I am giving it a 5 star.

LOVE IT!! This kettle is just the right size. My kettle doesn’t boil over any more on my stove. No more constantly cleaning water marks !! Looks beautiful and so far no rust

fabulous quality heavy duty heats the goat milk fast without scalding on propane stove (hot heat) pours like a dream has cut my feed prep time by a quarter i will be buying the smaller version for my tea nice to find some quality in the market still
