Good price - seems sturdy. Ordered two of these

Bought to go along with my new brushed bronze knobs and looks great! Very much more elevated than my silver patio door deadbolt and so happy I decided to upgrade.

I love the door lever handles. They are exactly what I wanted and the perfect color! They will look amazing installed!!

Description of this product is off - we bought it because it said it fit 1.25in doors. There was also a review that had doors similar to ours. We made it work and it works okay. Obviously best for normal doors. Don't buy for old antique doors.

These dead bolts were what we needed to complement the knobs that we had ordered as well. Love the ORB color and finish. There was a problem with the installation as there is an inner flange on the deadbolt thar was not flush (as on the older ones we were replacing). This meant that we needed to drill a larger hole in the metal door for it to fit flush with the door. Once installed, it functions very well.

Okay for indoor. Not secure for outdoor…

OKAY lock. Using for pantry lock. It will keep the teenagers out but will not keep out a thief. LET ME BE CLEAR: this is a cheap alternative if you are looking for an indoor deadbolt but it is not substantial for home security. One half of the lock does not even securely screw into the other side. It will stay on but it is not safe for exterior use of a home.

Not the quality of Kwickset...but

Not the quality of Kwickset, but gets the job done. Used on both a steel clad door and wood one. Template worked fine to line up holes, but the strike plate one can be a bit difficult to judge. I got lucky on both, but instructions for that part seemed lacking for how to line up correctly.

This Brink's single deadbolt is a sturdy and classy looking lock. I know it states for use in a mobile home but we used it on our service door on the garage to replace a poorly designed lock. I feel we have better protection for our garage now with this lock. It was very easy to install and took my husband under 10 minutes to put it in place. The lock can with instructions if you need them, all the parts, and 2 keys.

This Brinks single cylinder deadbolt is a quality built, polished brass item. At present, I had a dual key, two cylinder deadbolt. That means you need to open the deadbolt lock with a key both on the inside and outside of the door. I replaced it with this Brinks deadbolt. There's two reasons: 1. This lock is secure, strong and drill resistant. 2. To get out of the house, if there was an emergency, I would have to take the key out of the closet, insert it into the cylinder of my old lock, unlock the deadbolt and open the door. Do you realize how much time that would take to get out in the event of a fire or gas leak.Especially in a panic mode trying to insert a key into a cylinder lock does not work for me.
