Nice fixture but installation was a nightmare. I consider myself handy and have installed 18-20 other various light fixtures in my house. No more Koehler unless they send a third hand to hold this up while it’s being installed. Unlike 99% of other fixtures I’ve mounted, instead of the mounting plate having outward screws that go through the fixture base and are secured with cap screws, this fixtures has two very small, set screws on the sides. Very subtle but very much a pain in the butt. Getting all the wires into the very shallow cap base of the fixture is the first challenge. Next challenge is getting the fixture base/cap over the mounting plate on both sides - the first side is easy enough but snapping the other side over the plate with one hand while holding the lamp and making sure the wires remain tucked in - isn’t. Then once in place screwing the small set screws is impossible - must of been 7-8 tries. Now it’s back to re-spackling all the digs and scratches into the wall and repaint. I spent more time on this single item than I did painting the entire bathroom! No more Koehler light fixtures. Ever.

Received a replacement, my first one had 2 broken cones, and the replacement had 1 broken as well. Packaging needs to be done better. I think it's overpriced and there are equivalents sold with cheaper price tag. I kept it, bc used similar style vanities. Quality is ok, but not superb, it feels a little flimsy.

The mounting plate is configured such as it prevents the base of the light from sitting flush against the wall. There's about an 1/8" gap between the base of the light and the wall requiring caulking. The light shade is pretty small and a normal bulb will not fit right.

This is an outstanding Product. But for what you are paying for you can really go elsewhere and get many of a just as good looking product. It is made very well but i really overpaid for what i am using them for. Make sure you understand when you buy this light that it is for someplace that it will actually be used.
