cheap hanging plate.
I love the look of this light. It's a classic being that is a drum but edgy enough to work in a modern home. It has an CHEAP old style hanging disk at the ceiling. The two screw line it up with button screws are really a pain to get in place on a 12 foot ceiling. I prefer the ones that have set screws on the side. At just under $900 I expect a better product. I have recently just purchased a whole house full of lights and this had the worst hanging plate
Poorly made
Save yourself the struggle of returning this giant fixture. The fabric is cheap and is doubled up on about 1/4 of the circumference. Six of the black rings to clip the fabric to the frame are broken or not fully attached. The fabric cord is frayed in multiple areas for a foot at a time. Also, massive box arrived damaged. For the price...it is absolutely not worth it! Fingers crossed they don't charge me return shipping since the light is cosmetically damaged and unacceptable.
