Works great, heats up the living room quickly!

This is the heater you want for a realistic space heater. Do not buy those ceramic ones that heat only the first ten inches in front just wasting money and power. THE BAD... the fan doesn't really blow that much air volume and the bearings already sound terrible and whining. Can only be used as 1500 watts. THE GOOD. it will heat up a room no problem. It has a coil type heating element that actually gets hot and glows red which warms line of sight plus the air flow warms up everything else.
[Rewarded Review] Perfect, small little heater
I really like this heater. It has a tilt so you can heat down up or straight. The cord isn’t as long as I would like it to be, but it’s so small it can fit practically anywhere. It heats up fairly fast and you can see that it’s heating because the quills are red, which means not to touch the system. I actually really like this little guy I might get a second
[Rewarded Review] Solid, Cozy Heat
This is a great little space heater. I took it to my aviation workplace to help warm up my ramp coworkers’ small unheated office in our mild southwest winter (rarely do temperatures fall in the 20s). They loved having the space heater to warm up their office between marshaling and servicing airplanes. There are two heat settings which allows them to choose the right setting for their small office. Easy to plug in and start up right away. No issues with functionality.
Returned the heater after just a couple of days usage. Like others have said it pushes out less heat than a hair dryer on the low setting. Don’t waste your money.
These do not heat well, If you are within 2 feet you’ll feel it. It will take two for a small work area.
air coming out was not good enough
[Rewarded Review] Nice for workshop/shed/garage.
This is a nice space heater for a small area. I use it in my workshop, aimed at wherever I am. It is like one of those propane forced air heaters but puts out much less heat and is electric... its also 1,500w so don't expect too much heat from it. I saw several reviews that said it put out little heat. I noticed that first it need a few minutes to warm up then when warm, it put out about as much heat as any 1,500 space heater I have used. The fan blows fast though, so it may seem like less heat but it works fine. Only downside is the fan motor makes a slight noise from friction/rubbing. This space heater is made in China.
Looks robust…
While this unit looks powerful, it’s really quite anemic. Perhaps best suited as an under the desk leg warmer. Disappointing.
Good room heater
Good for heating small rooms. Stable base and quiet operation.
A little extra heat
Very nice and easy heater to use, made for small rooms
It works great heats up my room quick o like how it’s durable and the fan if it gets too hot. Thanks
Heater/fan
The heater/fan does not heat a 96 foot square space at all. I tried on two different days. I plan returning it back.
This Dura Heat EUH1500 has been my favorite-
I've been using (2) smaller electric heaters to heat my shop 19.5ft x 13ft x 7ft 7"H for a few years now; instead of one larger one. It's worked well for me. I do have insulation in the walls and over the top of the ceiling. Had purchased one of these a few years ago, didn't know they still made this model. This DuraHeat has been my favorite. I had been using one of these along with a HotBox Infrared. Had purchased other smaller heaters; including a smaller version of the DuraHeat with infrared. They weren't as efficient and some were tripping the breaker. Ordered another one of these, I think it puts out the best heat. 5120 BTU's per Hour; if that means anything to you. A smart simple and effective design- has a tubular stainless steel heating element, coiled in front of the fan. The heating coil heats up and the fan blows; a forced-air heater. A well built heater for the price. Built-in thermostat, overheat shut off, fan only setting, adjustable stand and carry handle.
[Rewarded Review] Nice design and great performance
I chose the DuraHeat 1500-Watt portable electric space heater to use when working in my garage. It heats up the work area better than I had expected. I like that it has a built in thermostat and a fan that really puts the heat on the move. The size is great, it doesn't take up a lot of space and can be moved from room to room easily with the fold away handle. It has 120 volts, 15 amps and 1500 watts. I'm very happy with the design and performance. I highly recommend it.
[Rewarded Review] Works Great for small area’s up to 250 Sq. Foot
This Duraheat 1500-Watt Portable Electric Space Heater is working perfectly for what I was wanting it for. The wife and I do all of our smoking in the garage in the winter months, not in the house, and during winter months it gets pretty cold out there. The garage is bigger than 250 sq. Foot, so it will not heat up the whole garage, so I put it on the hood of the wife’s truck and point it towards where we sit when smoking and it does knock the chill out pretty quick. This morning it was 67 degrees in the garage and after 1 1/2 hours, the temp in our area was 71 degrees with the heater running on high. I am pretty happy about that, at least I was able to take my jacket off. It does have an automatic thermostat that can be adjusted to shut off the heat at certain temps if you want. It also has a switch that allows you to blow just air and no heat. The heating element does not get glowing red like a lot of heater do, this heating element is made of heavy duty stainless steel and does not turn red. The stand has adjusting knobs that allows you to adjust the unit up or down as needed, It uses 15 amps and puts out 5,120 BTU’s, It hardly makes any sound at all while running on high and the air flow that it puts out is a lot like the vents in your house do, so if you have it close to you, it will not blow you away. I believe it will last a long time, as it looks like a quality made product that works great !
the fan is not what i expected, but it is a "space heater". Adequate for a room 5x10 space, with little to no draft. What I like about it is that it does not have the safety tilt over switch, which allows me to mount it from the ceiling at an angle.
Not hot enough and the fan wasn’t fast enough
Horrible! Didn’t give off any heat!
The heater is perfect size for my 5x8' greenhouse. I like the manual thermostat versus electronic controls because of occasional power interruptions.
