Nice and quiet for such a large generator. The dual handles make it easy to maneuver around. FYI if you buy this generator it does not come with oil!!! It takes 10w30, I down loaded the manual prior to it being delivered to see if I needed to get oil for it or not no luck manual was not helpful. It’s printed in very small letters on the bottom of the box 10w30 and not included. Seems to be how all new small engines are sent out now.

This is an unfair generator review, as I never received the unit. My complaint is solely with Home Depot and its online ordering competence.

UNRELIABLE - UNRESPONSIVE - POOR QUALITY

The XP13000DX stopped working after less than 12 hours of propane use. Despite repeated attempts to contact customer support, my concerns were not addressed. The standard warranty only covers parts, and the company has shown no accountability for an admittedly defective product. Numerous negative reviews online highlight widespread dissatisfaction. I strongly recommend researching alternatives before purchasing a Duromax product.

Great product, easy to move around and operate. The manual is very detailed and they provide you with every tool needed to maintain the inverter.

Generator is great….shipping was weeks late…they wouldn’t do anything about that, so I think I would acquire from a different source to avoid the Home Depot “runaround”

DuroMax XP16000iH is well built and quiet. I would recommend this inverter generator. Very nice design.

Paired this up with a MicroAir Soft Start on my 4 ton AC and can easily power the whole house via a power inlet box and interlock kit.

Had been looking and comparing for several months, finally pulled the trigger, Great Generator it's a must buy!

Works Perfectly

I took this out of the box, added oil, attached my propane tank and it fired up with my remote starter. I haven't put it under load but I don't anticipate any issues when I do.

It's big.

Just arrived today. It's a beast, but in retrospect, I probably should have bought two 11,000 for $200 more to run in parallel, giving 4,750 more watts than a single 16000 - if my calculations are correct.

new generator left us hanging

like another reviewer, I used this for the first time for hurricane Milton a couple days ago. The generator ran but produced zero power. Thank goodness I still had my Honda generator because it saved the day. Luckily we were able to find gasoline at the last minute, because I had 5 propane tanks for this duramax that didnt work. My Honda 3450 inverter was perfect, I wish I would have never purchased this duromax. called customer support during the hurricane and there was no answer - was on the phone tree hold for over 20 minutes and still no one. with my dwindling phone battery and finally had to hang up. duromax really let us down at our most needy time.

Runs, but produces no electricity

Bought this generator after hurricane Ian, two years ago. First generator wouldn’t start, so we replaced it through Lowes back then. It has been kept covered inside garage with no further use - pristine condition. Now, after hurricane Milton, we hooked it up to the house and it runs fine, but produces no electricity. Called Duromax, as it’s still under warranty. Technical support was very nice, said they'd send someone out to diagnose the problem. Haven’t heard a word from them since - three days now. Call them and get a tape recording about how busy they are. It's a hurricane - that’s what I bought it for! No power, no working generator and no Duromax customer service.

Replaced our XP13000EH, because we installed some split air units, and my wife works at home on a computer and we were concerned about the THD. We love this thing. This is our third duromax in 3 years. We also purchased a XP11000IH for our guest house, unfortunately it had a problem. Called customer support they asked us to check a few things, they then said they wound send a carrier to get it same day and shipped out a new one. Customer support was always easily accessible and very polite. Some reviews saying theirs no support is BS, they’re just KARENS! the inverter generators are far quieter and more fuel efficient then conventional ones are. I would highly recommend a purchase, just for the support alone. Having an expensive broken generator would be extremely stressful, they removed all that stress, and remember when it’s out of warranty, there’s help and parts available by phone, not texts to and from china. I think that says it all!
