Much better than I imagined. Mounted in a hallway it is very classy. The clean lines and the hidden hardware behind the Alabaster diffuser would probably be a fine fitting as a stand alone item. The bulb is brighter than I had supposed it to be and that is a bonus. But the brightness is tempered by being doubly filtered through its cover and the diffuser. Finally, the Depot's price was considerably cheaper than others on the net.
