Unit quit less than a year. No warranty support. Runaround from company, numerous nonsense questions and requirements ( such as advanced testing of unit with unknown and unavailable tools) but no answers or any offer or repair/ parts/ replacement from them. Unwilling to honor warranty. Read mountain of complaints at Summerville, SC Better Business Bureau.

This is my second purchase of this water heater. The first one developed problems with a loose battery door connection problems after 5 years daily use in a coastal setting. Excellent product for out door shower. It often gets too hot and becomes a balancing act with the gas and water adjustments. The instructions do not explain how to correct temperature settings so it is a trial and error challenge. We love it! Keeps from tracking into the house after a day of fishing, gardening or beach time. Home Depot did an excellent job mailing it to our home. Thank you.

Glad I bought this more expensive unit. While GPM is not much more than a 45,000 BTU unit, the water is fantastically hotter and constant. Feels very well built. Shower hose/nozzle better than other brand. Must lower water knob for igniter to start.

The on-off for the shower head was extremely hard to operate, then the second time I used it the metal coil of the hose started to uncoil and the liner bulged out and burst. I checked the water pressure and it was 55 psi., the unit is supposed to be rated for up to 80 psi. I'm going to buy a real shower head and hose from some place else since a replacement doesn't seem to be forthcoming and even if it is, it would probably be the same low quality as the original. What good is hot water if you can't use it?
