HVAC struggles to keep upper floor cool at all, so a window unit is needed during the summer to help out. Didn't realize how inefficient the old window unit was til we decided to try upgrading. Cools really well, remote is super handy. Light blinks to remind you to clean the filter occasionally. Really like there's an eco option or you can go full-blast "make it feel Arctic." It's held up well so far despite periods of 24/7 use during the summer. It cools a bedroom, but when the door is open it works well enough to affect the overall upstairs temp (modest square footage area) which is really handy. So glad we got it.

NOT THAT QUIET. Definitely noisy in the Auto Eco setting…similar to an old fridge. Def wakes me up every time it comes on. It works fine for a small space - my studio is just around 250 s.f. so its okay. Would not recommend trying to make it work for a larger room. Relatively easy to install with two people - except for the accordion window gap things, but those always suck. However, once done, these are sturdy and staying put which is nice. Easy to operate. Filter has a little indicator light, and pulls right out so you can just rinse it out in the sink, dry it, and slide it back in - no buying wasteful replacement filters. The biggest problem with this is that is is NOT QUIET so its really not great if youre a light sleeper, like me. Its not super energy efficient, so my bill is still pretty high, but it was on sale so I got what I paid for.

I love my upgraded unit! It's definitely more stylish and modern looking, with an easier way to clean the filter. Having a remote control is also a great bonus. I am a big fan of your products (pun intended), especially in the A/C world, thank you!

Haier 6,000 BTU A/C with remote, dependable so far

i just purchased this A/C in early JUNE 2024. just in time to put it through harsh hot weather. i installed it myself (I'm 67) after procrastinating. it gives off plenty of cold air. the only issue i don't like is when the unit is running, it sort of has like a muffled sound, as if it is holding back. it's not a quiet running A/C but i don't care as long as it works well. note: under the ac there is a small rubber plug that you can remove so that any water in the ac can escape. i found that out in the trouble shooting section of the instructions. upon researching this brand, i found that this used to be General Electric. when the unit is turned off, the settings automatically revert to original start, so you need to push the buttons all over again to set it on cool or speeds etc..

I like the air conditioner

Great little unit.

Needed to cool down our kitchen so we got this little guy. Works like a champ and keeps the room low humidity and 73 degrees. Helps keep the rest of the house from warming up also.

Not worth it

Bought for a small bedroom. That doesn’t need to be very cold. The ac runs nonstop, if you change the setting to eco mode, it never comes on. No matter the temperature it does not blow out cold air, only ever slightly cooler than warm air. Sadly, I can’t return it cause I no longer have the box but I definitely think it’s either broke or not worth it.
