Damaged and incorrect specifications
I bought this AC unit and received the unit which was damaged. I paid a contractor to install it but will have pay for 2nd installation. I'm a disabled veteran and told the store I can't afford pay for 2nd installation. They ordered 2nd unit and gave me a discount. Received new unit and again was damaged. I can't wait for 3rd unit but got home and the dimensions on their site are wrong. The width is 2.25 inches smaller. I have to pay to fix this problem. No response from corporate. SAD
Unfortunately somewhere along the shipping process the Amana A.C. was dropped and the Fan Housing/Ring was broken. Our installer took our old one out, installed the Amana & had to take it back out replace the old one and we ordered a new one. He was NOT happy!! The Amana was out of stock, so we ordered a Frigidaire. The service rep. Tanya was wonderful, she is an amazing asset to Home Depot service. We think Home Depot is THE place to shop!!
I really can’t speak to the quality of the unit because when it came in it was damaged. I returned it and got a refund.
[Rewarded Review] So Far So Good
Had the item for a week and so far it works great. It was delivered with some damage to the exterior so i was afraid that it wouldn't work but we had waited several days and it was very hot so we gave it a chance. So far so good.
Not happy.
This item came damaged. It is not packaged well or protected.
