Unit is okay. Dimensions are different than specifications, so work required to fit into wall cut out.

was scared with the heat all summer that this would conk out while I wasn't home, with the dogs i was very worried, but it ran 24/7 for month. set on eco of course. works great. cleaned the filter a couple of times in the sink.

We use this for our enclosed back porch which is 7x 30. It blasts out cold air and that is when it's on Medium!! We love this and would buy it again! I hoped they made an 8,000 but this is just as economical.

Control panel not working

I've owned this Air Conditioner for 13 months and it's not longer functional. You can't use any of the buttons on the control panel and the unit turns on an off every few seconds/minutes. The only way to control the unit is using the remote, but that only turns it on. As soon as it's on it will run for a minute or two and then it starts cycling through all kinds of settings. I call customer service and they said "sorry, it's outside the support range of 12 months". I'm guess most of these good reviews are by people who have owned this unit less than 6 months. Good luck.

It does the work. I have a studio apartment and it cools all of it. Love the remote control. The main issue is that it’s very loud. It produces a lot of noise and sometimes I need to turn it off while taking calls. Haven’t decided yet what to do w it but I am considering replacing it only because of the noise.

I chose this because of its simplicity. I read all the manuals of installation and operation of various models (who needs WiFi on an air conditioner??). I’m an old lady and had to install myself and it was very simple and straight forward. Does it cool? Holy cow. It’s in a window cooling dining room, kitchen and living room. Today the outside temp is 99F and in here it’s it’s 72F. Was not supposed to come until 14th but THANK YOU Home Depot! sent it early and got it on the 9th. So far, so good.

Had it for three Maine summers and its already dead. We took it apart to try to clean it but its pretty clean already.
