Love the product

I like the thermostatic valve. It allows to control volume and temperature independently. After 20 years of use the hard water deposits destroyed the cartridge but I am installing exactly the same one as it served us well

We love this separate volume and temperature control. We've had it in our first bathroom renovation for about 2 months and are putting it in our second. So nice not to have to fiddle with the temperature each time you turn on the shower. Highly recommended and Hansgrohe is such high quality!

I loved the fact that one can control the flow rate and the water temperature separately. My only quibble is that the flow rate does not seem to diminish until the small dial is turned way down. Other than that it is an elegant looking control with smooth movement.

The product description is incorrect. "Hansgrohe 04230820 S Thermostatic Trim With Volume Control and Diverter" this unit controls only ONE outlet, so no diverter to select between 2 outlets. I also have the headache of purchasing a "LIKE NEW" unit from Home Essentials Direct Warehouse Sales, the unit I received was INCOMPLETE, missing attachment and set screws needed to install the unit.

high quality at a great price

Excellent and quality product. The thing I like about this is that once you set the water temperature to where you like, you never have to move it. Simply switch the top knob to turn on and the temperature is set! Can't get much better than that!!!!!

too tempermental

I am an interior designer, mostly with full house renovations and build kitchen additions, bathrooms etc, and have found that this valve system is too delicate, client thought it was broken because it wouldn't snap into the hand held position

Great Quality Product

Had this installed for about a year in my master (steam) shower and still looks like it was installed yesterday. Smooth operation, well set up, good looking. I like it so much in my own home that I have installed in several clients remodels.
