I returned this product as it was not very solid...
I returned this product as it was not very solid material. For instance the poker was thin in diameter and had a flat piece of metal, not a thick gauge, welded to the pole. Maybe good for a small fireplace that only burns Duralogs or small branches, but for a good wood stove or larger firewood.

Not safe to use
This item was not made strong enough to be safe to really use in a fireplace or woodstove and the brush is very very cheap. After 2 uses it looks awful.

So disappointing! While this was a very pretty set, it was very thin metal. The entire stand had been smashed in shipping, plus the paint was coming off all over it. Little damage to the box compared to the condition of the stand inside, which shows how flimsy it is. Very poor quality, IMO, so it went back. Home Depot handled the return quickly and easily, so props to them for that.
